Würzburg, Germany: Public Support for Ending the Persecution of Falun Dafa

(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in Germany held an information day event in Würzburg to help more people learn about Falun Dafa and the persecution in China. Passersby signed the petition calling for the German government to support the effort to end the state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting being carried out by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). They also called to disintegrate the CCP for the crimes it has committed. Many people signed the petition and several residents expressed their wish to learn the practice.

Würzburg is a municipal state with a population of nearly 120,000 people. It is a city in Southern Germany that is famous for its history and culture, and it has a strong academic environment. 

The practitioners set up two information booths along the city center’s pedestrian street. One of the venues was the Dominikanerplatz, which is outside the Augustine Cathedral, and the other was the Vierroehrenbrunnen, outside the old town hall.

Busy Place for Truth-clarification

The sun was bright and the weather was warm for the information day event. Because it was also market day, many people, including tourists, passed by the area – much more than usual.

Many passersby stopped by the Falun Dafa booths and asked questions about the practice and the persecution in China. Due to the pandemic, each of the information booths only allowed between three and four practitioners at one time. Many people saw that the practitioners were all busy answering questions at the booths so they just stood in front of the display boards and read the content on their own. When they understood the truth, they signed the petition to call for an end to the CCP’s forced organ harvesting of prisoners of conscience, and an end to the CCP.

People Support Falun Dafa and Condemn the CCP

A German gentleman walked straight to the booth, asking to sign the petition to show his support. He said that he had been following up on the criminal acts committed by the CCP for a long time and he had hated the CCP for a very long time. He said, “The CCP is bad from the inside out. I totally believe that it is capable of such a criminal act as removing Falun Dafa practitioners’ organs while they are still alive. However, many people still do not know about that. I hope that people get to know about the things that are happening in China, and understand what the CCP is all about.”

A woman from Croatia who has lived in Germany for over 20 years asked the practitioner, “Harvesting the Falun Dafa practitioners’ organs while they were still alive? Is this real? This is too sinful and too terrifying! We must stop this criminal act even though it is happening in China. We should spread this news more widely, and let more people know about it.”

A man riding his bicycle past the booth saw the contents on the banner, stopped, and came straight over to the booth to sign both of the petitions. He said, “I have been keeping watch of the things that are happening in China for about 20 years. I know about the persecution of Falun Dafa, I know about the suppression of the student democratic movement by the CCP, and I also know about the criminal acts that the CCP has committed in Tibet, Xinjiang and Hong Kong. Therefore, I never buy products from China no matter how cheap they are because I do not want to support such an autocratic regime. It is a pity that many Western governments and enterprises, including German enterprises, are bowing down to the CCP because of benefits and gains, nurturing this wolf. It is time that the world wakes up!”

After observing the practitioners’ exercise movements, the cyclist asked, “Do you have exercise practice groups in Würzburg too? I would also like to join and learn the practice.”
