(Minghui.org) “You are all murderers! You abused my father so viciously, and one day you’ll all receive retribution!” cried the daughter of Mr. Zheng Shoujun to the prison guards, who had tortured him to death in prison.
This scene happened in the hospital affiliated with Dongling Prison in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province on August 20, 2008. Mr. Zheng, a 45-year-old Falun Gong practitioner from Liaozhong County (under the administration of Shenyang City), was beaten to death merely two weeks after being taken to the prison.
Mr. Zheng’s wife received a phone call from the prison on the morning before (August 19), asking her to go to the hospital, as her husband was dying. She rushed there but was blocked outside. At 8:00 p.m. that night, she received a second call and was told her husband had died.
She and her daughter weren’t allowed to see her husband’s body until the morning of August 20. They were devastated to see his lifeless and deformed body. His head was swollen and his abdomen bloated. His face was bruised, and his hands were tightly balled as if in a struggle.
Mr. Zheng’s daughter questioned the guards, “You said my father died of illness. Why is there no trace of medical treatment, not even a needle hole, on his body? The medical record said my father walked into the hospital on the morning of the 19th with a clear mind. But you informed us the same day that he had died.” The prison guards could not say a word to defend themselves. They proceeded to have Mr. Zheng’s body cremated without his family’s consent.
It is apparent that these prison guards murdered innocent people without any reservations.
Is Mr. Zheng’s case an isolated one? No. Since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began to persecute Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, countless Falun Gong practitioners have been illegally arrested, imprisoned, tortured, and even had their organs harvested while they were still alive. Thousands of Falun Gong practitioners have been confirmed to have been brutally tortured to death.
Mr. Fan Xuejun, 30 years old, was a resident of Weihe Street in Huanggu District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. He died at Huazi Prison in Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province, on September 12, 2004. Eyewitnesses who saw his body noted that his skull was caved in, there was a hole in his back, and a long cut on his thigh. His relatives later revealed that he was killed after his organs were harvested while he was still alive.
Mr. Xiao Hongmo from Guanghan City, Sichuan Province, was brutally tortured at the Deyang Prison in Sichuan Province. On July 25, 2009, he was injected with an unknown drug, which caused him to become unconscious and incontinent. He was taken to the Sichuan Province General Police Hospital in Chengdu City on July 27, 2009, and died there in mid-March 2010, at the age of 47.
There are nearly 5,000 verified cases of Falun Gong practitioners who have been persecuted to death. As the saying goes, human life is most precious. Which country’s law enforcement officials can kill at will? The Chinese police and prison guards dared to kill practitioners, all because Jiang Zemin, the former CCP head, launched the persecution and ordered to “kill [practitioners] without mercy, and count their torture deaths as suicide.”
The CCP is Trampling on the Law and Violating Human Rights
The CCP has been persecuting Falun Gong for 22 years without any legal basis. Its harassment, arrest, detention, and sentencing of Falun Gong practitioners have all violated the law. Some judges openly said, “We talk about politics but not about law.” The CCP violates human rights and kills innocent people.
Torture and Persecution
According to accounts of persecution reported on the Minghui website, Falun Gong practitioners have been subjected to inhumane torture. Some of the most common physical torture methods include beatings, shocking with electric batons, force-feeding, exposure to extreme heat and cold, forced abortion, rape, burning, confinement in small cages, handcuffing for long periods of time, and injections of dangerous drugs into practitioners. The list goes on and on, with over 100 torture methods documented. Falun Gong practitioners are also subjected to forced organ harvesting, slave labor, and mental abuse in the form of brainwashing.
Injection of Unknown Drugs
The CCP has been using involuntary administration of drugs, including psychiatric drugs, on a large scale in its attempt to force Falun Gong practitioners to give up their belief. Even psychiatric hospitals are involved in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, including force-feeding, drug injections, and electric shocks.
The Baimalong Women’s Labor Camp in Hunan Province was one of the labor camps where Falun Gong practitioners were severely persecuted with drugs. Many Falun Gong practitioners who did not renounce their faith in Falun Gong were directly handed over to the doctors in the labor camp’s infirmary. They were forcibly injected with large amounts of the psychotropic drug Thorazine, which is a strong tranquilizer used in treating psychiatric patients. As a result of the injection, hundreds of practitioners lost their memories and awareness. Some had general numbness, some suffered mental collapse after the injection, and some died on the way home.
Live Organ Harvesting
Live organ harvesting has been called “an unprecedented evil on this planet,” and Jiang Zemin is the chief director of this evil drama. Despite the appeals of righteous people and governments worldwide, live organ harvesting continues today, even after being exposed internationally in March 2006.
These facts are enough for the world to see the destructive nature of the CCP. It persecutes good people without any reservation and has no human nature at all.
The Heavenly Law Holds
The CCP has ignored the law and violated all legal procedures with its unequaled authority in the persecution of Falun Gong.
However, in both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution—that is, being held ultimately accountable for one’s own actions—is widely accepted. Stated another way, evil will incur its due, with no exception.
The Minghui website has reported the retribution cases of more than 20,000 CCP officials who met their fate for their involvement in the persecution of Falun Gong. Due to the strict information control, more cases are still yet to be reported.
Many of the evildoers who received retribution were those working in the 610 Office, law enforcement, Procuratorate, courts, and Political and Legal Affairs Committees.
Men Zhenliang, director of the 610 Office in Gaoqiao Township, Yishui County, in Shandong Province, suffered a brain stem hemorrhage on May 16, 2021, and died on the afternoon of May 27. Since July 1999, Men had actively participated in the persecution of Falun Gong. Many Falun Gong practitioners in the local area were imprisoned and their homes ransacked under his directives.
Du Fengxiang was the head of the trial department of the Kailu County Court in Inner Mongolia. During his tenure, he arrogantly and publicly said that he could sentence Falun Gong practitioners at will. He suffered from cancer and died suddenly at home in 2018.
Chen Aidang, who worked for the Jianchang County Public Security Bureau in Liaoning Province, actively participated in the persecution of Falun Gong in order to get bonuses and promotions. During his tenure as head of the police station in Toudao Yingzi Township, Jianchang County, he directed the arrests of several Falun Gong practitioners. On May 24, 2012, Chen suffered a heart attack and died shortly after.
This article only lists a few such retribution cases to serve as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who commit wrongdoing. Many persecutors of Falun Gong received retribution, including dying of sudden diseases or being involved in a car accident. While the deaths may appear accidental, many Falun Gong practitioners believe that the officials’ involvement in the persecution was a major contributing factor to their untimely deaths.
Minghui.org published a notice in late May 2019, urging Falun Gong practitioners “to take immediate action to collect, compile, and submit to Minghui.org information on the perpetrators, their family members, and their assets, to locate and verify their identities.” The purpose of compiling this list is to stop the persecution, preserve what is good, and uphold justice.
Minghui.org has since maintained a posted list of the perpetrators involved in the persecution of Falun Gong. This list is posted on a Minghui-affiliated website. It covers a total of 105,580 names with the perpetrators’ personal information and crimes committed against Falun Gong practitioners.
The CCP’s 22-year-long persecution of Falun Gong has been widely condemned by the international community. Officials from the United States Department of State (DOS) have been tightening visa vetting of human rights abusers. They may deny visas to human rights violators and those who persecute religious beliefs. Yu Hui, the director of the 610 Office in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, and his immediate family, have been denied entry into the U.S. More perpetrators of the persecution of Falun Gong can be denied visas or entry.
The CCP’s cruel persecution of Falun Gong practitioners is a genocide and a crime against humanity. The final judgment - the end will soon come for the CCP. Falun Gong practitioners cherish life and sincerely hope the perpetrators still involved in the persecution will learn a lesson from these cases.
