(Minghui.org) Practitioners in Japan held a parade and candlelight vigil in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture on July 18, 2021, to call for justice and for people of conscience to stop the 22-year-long persecution of Falun Dafa by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Many people said that it was time to end the CCP’s rule and end the persecution.
Led by the Tian Guo Marching Band, the parade marched through the bustling streets of Yokohama for two hours. Practitioners held banners that read “Falun Dafa Is Good,” “Falun Dafa Is Practiced in More Than 100 Countries,” “End the CCP,” and “380 Million Chinese Have Quit the CCP Organizations.”

Many people were drawn to the parade and took informational materials from practitioners to learn more about Falun Dafa and the persecution. One person said, “The CCP is too cruel. It persecutes people who believe in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.” Another person said that the pandemic has helped people to clearly understand that the communist regime is against humanity and should not exist. Many people signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution.

She has yet to contact her family. Ms. Fu is worried about her mother and said, “No one knows what happened to my mother. Our family is unable to contact her. Practitioners in their 70s or 80s are being arrested and sentenced to prison. The persecution continues.”
As night fell, practitioners held a candlelight vigil in a park in Tokyo to mourn the practitioners who have been persecuted to death in China for remaining steadfast in their faith. They called on people to pay attention and help to end the CCP’s atrocities. Drawn by the peaceful scene, passersby stopped to learn more about Falun Dafa and the persecution. They also encouraged the practitioners to keep up their efforts.
