(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners from various areas of Bulgaria gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy in the capital Sofia on July 19, 2021 and called on the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to immediately end the persecution of practitioners in China.
The event started at 11 a.m. and lasted for 3 hours. Practitioners hung up banners with messages of “Falun Dafa is good,” “Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance,” “Stop the CCP from Killing Practitioners for their Organs.” They demonstrated the exercises and told passersby about how the CCP has brutally persecuted practitioners for 22 years. They detailed the unlawful arrests, torture, depriving practitioners of all their rights, forced labor and even killing them to sell their organs for huge profits.
Nico, a new practitioner from eastern Bulgaria, traveled 8 hours to participate in the event. She took the loudspeaker and called for the CCP to immediately end the persecution.

Practitioners also told people that the CCP has been committing crimes against humanity since it usurped power in China. It launched the Cultural Revolution, the massacre of students at Tiananmen Square, and the persecution of ethnic minorities in China. Practitioners called on people to stay away from the CCP and recognize its evil nature.
One woman said that she's seen practitioners several times at the embassy. After understanding the facts about Falun Dafa, she signed the petition to end the persecution.
A policeman said that practitioners gave him and his colleague colorful little paper lotus flowers a few years ago. The police still keep those lotus flowers with the messages of “Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance” in their office.
Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China in 1992. The spiritual discipline is now practiced in over 100 countries and regions worldwide. Millions of people have embraced the teachings—which are based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance as well as five gentle exercises—and experienced uplifted health and well-being.
Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), perceived the spiritual discipline's growing popularity as a threat to the CCP's atheistic ideology and on July 20, 1999, issued an order to ban the practice.
Minghui.org has confirmed the deaths of thousands of practitioners as a result of the persecution over the past 22 years. The actual number is believed to be much higher. More have been imprisoned and tortured for their faith.
There is concrete evidence that the CCP sanctions the harvesting of organs from detained practitioners, who are murdered to supply the organ transplant industry.
Under Jiang's personal direction, the CCP established the 610 Office, an extralegal security organization with the power to override the police and judicial systems and whose sole function is to carry out the persecution of Falun Dafa.
