Liaoning Woman Suffers Heinous Torture in Prison

(Minghui.org) Several inmates stripped Ms. Jin Hong naked, put a lot of bugs on her body, tied her wrists to the bed railing of the upper bunk and hung her up. They taped her feet to the step ladder of the lower bunk. Then they put a plastic bag over her head and began to hit her head with full water bottles. Ms. Jin almost suffocated and passed out. Afterward, one inmate pinched her nipples, a second one taped her pubic hair before yanking the tape, a third one kicked her in the abdomen and a fourth one poked Ms. Jin’s private parts with her foot which had athlete’s foot to infect her.

This appalling torture happened on June 27, 2021 in Liaoning Province Second Women’s Prison with nine inmates involved under the instruction of the prison guards. Ms. Jin, in her 50s and of Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, is serving a four-year term there for her faith in Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999. She was arrested on December 4, 2019 and sentenced in September 2020.

Ms. Jin is being incarcerated in the First Division Fifth Team of Liaoning Province Second Women’s Prison. She was forced to attend brainwashing sessions starting on April 21, 2021. Two weeks later, she was also ordered to do the night patrol, from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. She had no time to sleep. Nevertheless, she still had to attend the brainwashing sessions during the day.

Prison guards, Li Xiaoyi, Sun Weijing, and Wang Jing, pledged to have Ms. Jin renounce Falun Gong on May 7. They instructed inmate Cheng Xianfeng to beat her up for three consecutive days, but to no avail.

Ms. Jin was sent to the Seventh Team between June 26 and 29, 2021 for escalated persecution, which led to the heinous torture that happened the next day and described at the opening of the article.

She was forced to work the next day. To cover up her injury from the beating, guard Sun Weijing ordered her to wear long-sleeved clothes and put on a mask. They also arranged her to walk with elderly and disabled inmates, so others wouldn’t notice that she limped. After work, she was hung up in the dormitory again with four limbs stretched out. The inmates pulled her four limbs hard and hit her abdomen.

She was handcuffed behind her back the following night. They pressed her face into the water basin and then pulled her head up, which was repeated for more than 20 minutes, until she was on the verge of death.

Because Ms Jin’s family strongly requested to see her, the prison guards began to scale down her torture. Yet she is still made to attend daily “study” session in the workshop.
