(Minghui.org) Five police officers and a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) secretary from the local neighborhood committee broke into the home of 84-year-old Zhu Dairong at 5:00 p.m. on September 20, 2022. The officers were from the police station in Huangxu Town, Jingyang District, Deyang City, Sichuan Province.
They claimed that someone had reported Ms. Zhu for distributing information about Falun Dafa that morning. They ransacked Ms. Zhu’s home, took her Falun Dafa books and other personal belongings, then took her to the police station.
Ms. Zhu clarified the facts about Falun Dafa to the officers at the police station. She told them that she had previously been critically ill and relied on medicine to survive before she started practicing Falun Dafa. She was close to being paralyzed and unable to take care of herself. All her illnesses disappeared after she began practicing Falun Dafa. She told them that she is now in good health, and has not taken any medications for 24 years.
She told the officers that Falun Dafa is righteous, and she is living testimony. She told them that no law in China states it is illegal to practice Falun Dafa. She told them that the CCP tramples on the law, and uses its power to manipulate the public prosecutors and law enforcement to persecute practitioners.
She also told them that many people know that good deeds are rewarded with good but doing bad deeds causes people trouble. She asked them not to follow their superiors’ orders to commit crimes by persecuting practitioners.
The police took Ms. Zhu home at 10:00 p.m. that night.
Saving the Police Who Harass Her
Two officers from the Yanshun Road Police Station in Yanjiao, Langfang City, Hebei Province, harassed Ms. Yu Xuelan on September 3, 2022, and insisted on photographing her. Ms. Yu said, “I won’t allow you to take my picture. I will not cooperate.”
The officers said, “Then just say you will stop practicing Falun Dafa, and we can close our case.” Ms. Yu said, “I will continue to practice no matter what.” The officer said, “Don’t clarify the truth to people.” Ms. Yu said, “That won’t do. I have a lot to tell you, because I must save you.” The officers left without saying anything else.
Countering Police Harassment
A member of the Xiqucheng Village Committee of Canzhuang Township in Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province, Yang Guangbo took two police officers from the Canzhuang Police Station with him, and broke into the home of Ms. Yang Guangxin on the morning of July 6, 2022, intending to harass her.
The younger police officer began to take photos of Ms. Yang. She stopped him and asked to see their IDs. The older officer showed his ID to Ms. Yang, who read, “Your name is Hou Xinzhou.” Ms. Yang then asked the younger officer for his ID, but he refused to show it to her.
The older officer said impatiently, “Can’t you just say you will stop practicing [Falun Dafa]?” Ms. Yang said, “No! I would be letting my Master down if I did that. Besides, if I say or sign anything today, you will use it as evidence to keep persecuting Falun Dafa. When the CCP is held accountable for it’s crimes, do you want to be implicated?”
Ms. Yang got her cell phone from the bedroom and said, “Let me take a picture of you.” She took a picture of the younger officer, and then told the older officer, “Let me take a picture of you too.” He immediately stood up, covered the camera with his hand, and ran out of the house.
