(Minghui.org) The Tian Guo Marching Band in Taiwan was invited to participate in the New Taipei City Tamsui Environmental Arts Festival Parade on October 1, 2022. The grand annual celebration attracted 20,000 people this year. The practitioners’ marching band and celestial maidens dance team served as the finale of the parade.

The parade started at the Tamsui Old Street Plaza, passed Fuyou Temple and Sanjiao Park, and wrapped up at Tamsui Tide Watch Square. The Tian Guo Marching Band received waves of applause and cheers along the route. Some spectators danced to the music. With a total of 300 members, the Tian Guo Marching Band has been widely acclaimed for its performances in Taiwan and overseas. This was the fifth time the band was invited to participate in the New Taipei City Tamsui Environmental Arts Festival Parade.

Tamsui District Administrator Wu Tsung-ren thanked the practitioners for their contribution and praised the band and practitioners’ celestial maidens dance team for bringing the celebration to its peak.

Ms. Huang Shunv, director of the Tian Guo Marching Band, said, “Practitioners follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. It’s our common wish to spread these principles to every corner of the world. It’s our pleasure to bring joy and love to everyone.”
Ms. Lin Yahui clapped in time to the music as the band passed. She said, “I’m touched by their music! It’s exciting to see such a great performance in Tamsui! The whole world needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance!”

Ms. Li, owner of a store along the parade route, praised the band, “They look so energetic! Their performance is professional! Truly remarkable!”

Mr. Zheng, another spectator, said that the music was lively and positive. “Not only Taiwan, but the whole world needs you! Any restriction on freedom is wrong!”
