Do Not Give an Audience to Former Practitioners Who Have Enlightened Along an Evil Path

(Minghui.org) I have been practicing Falun Dafa for more than 20 years. After the Chinese Communist Party began to persecute Dafa in July 1999, I was arrested for upholding my faith and subsequently detained for more than ten years. Thanks to Master Li’s (Dafa’s founder) protection, I remained steadfast in custody and never gave in to the evil. While I did not leave any regrets in detention, I did something last year that made me feel very regretful. I hope fellow practitioners can learn from my lesson.

Wei Li, an out-of-town practitioner, found me through another practitioner one day in September 2021. She asked me to find Jia and Yi (aliases), two fellow practitioners who were once detained with me. I said yes. When Wei, Jia, Yi, and I got together, Wei told us how she negated the persecution and got her seven-year prison term reduced to a few months. She also talked about her understanding of Master’s new lectures of “Wake Up” and “A Strong and Urgent Warning.” Jia and Yi liked what she said. I did not listen for too long before I left to arrange dinner. When I returned, Jia and Yi recommended that our local coordinator set a time to talk with Wei as well.

I didn’t know Wei at the time, but I disapproved of her in two aspects: First, when she was talking to us, she still had her earphone on to listen to Master’s lectures. She claimed she had been in this state throughout the years. Secondly, I felt that her sharing was very random and not logical at all.

However, when Jia and Yi proposed to hold another sharing, I did not object. Now that I think about it, although I did not have much time to listen to Wei’s sharing, I was still curious about some of the things she said and thought she had cultivated to a higher level.

More than a dozen fellow practitioners came to the second sharing. Not long after Wei started her sharing, one of the fellow practitioners pointed out that her words were not on the Fa, and then left. Maybe because she was disrupted, half of her remaining sharing was merely reciting Master’s Fa. I didn’t listen to her much and then went to arrange meals for everybody. When I came back, another practitioner left. After a while, Wei stopped talking and everyone left.

Someone told me that Wei went astray. Our local practitioners thought I was giving her an audience. Because I did not know her too well, I decided not to meet her again, but to observe if what others said about her was true.

Half a year later, I saw a video made by Wei on a social media platform in China. She made videos that showed some poems from Master’s book Hong Yin with the words “Father King said,” and “Creator said.” She used ordinary people’s music in the background and spread the videos on the Internet. Her behavior was obviously sabotaging the Fa. What’s worse was that a group of people even followed her on social media. They even used the illustrations in Hong Yin as their social media account avatars. They claimed that this was allowed given the Fa-rectification had reached this stage.

Master has said,

“No one is allowed to place my lectures on the Internet. Whoever did it should take it down! You are committing a sin, and you are tarnishing Dafa! Nothing of Dafa can be placed on the Internet without permission. I just said that it's a whirlpool that the demons use to mess up the world by pulling in people, that is, they want to pull in all of humankind and destroy it!” (“Fa Teaching at the 2016 New York Fa Conference,” Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. XIV)

Wei and her followers later became even more rampant in damaging Dafa. Wei took a photo of herself sending forth righteous thoughts, with an illustration of heaven’s gate, and made a video with the music of “Pudu” and “Jishi.” She claimed that posting her photo online would be the same as going to Tiananmen Square to validate the Fa and that this would make her enter the new universe. There have been over twenty practitioners doing the same with their real identifications.

After “Be Rational (with Master’s Comment)” was published, some practitioners pointed out to Wei and her followers that their posting photos online posed a safety danger to others. They justified themselves by saying that the Fa had rectified the human world and that the risk factors did not exist anymore.

I regret very much that without knowing Wei, I arranged that experience sharing and gave her the audience. I need to eliminate my attachment to supernormal abilities and celestial eyes.

Master said,

“Ever since Dafa was first introduced to the public there have always been people popping up and doing irrational things. Their conduct is actually done at the bidding of evil entities in other dimensions, who make use of them. Dafa is the Way that created, and is saving, the universe, and is not something anyone can harm! Such conduct can only ruin those who go along with it. These people had better start acting appropriately for their own sake!” (“Be Rational (with Master’s Comment)”)

In the final stage of the Fa-rectification, cultivation is becoming more and more serious. We need to be more rational. We must adhere to Master’s Fa to cultivate, and do well the three things. I hope those practitioners who follow Wei will wake up quickly. We have walked past the most difficult times. Let’s not make all our prior efforts go in vain at the last moment.
