Cultivating with My Grandson

(Minghui.org) I have lived with my grandson, Binbin, ever since he was born. We listen to Dafa music and the audio lectures Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, gave in Guangzhou, China. We also read Zhuan Falun and Master’s other lectures, recite “Falun Dafa is good,” Lunyu, and Hong Yin poems. We also attend group Fa study and watch Shen Yun Performing Arts during Chinese New Year on New Tang Dynasty Television (NTD). Under Master’s protection, my grandson has grown up to be a healthy and obedient young Dafa disciple with high moral standards.

I would like to share how Binbin and I clarified the truth to his preschool and elementary school teachers.

Clarifying the Truth to My Grandson’s Preschool Teachers

Binbin has known how to conduct himself as a cultivator since he was young and going to preschool. One of his classmates hit him twice two days in a row, but he did not say anything to the teachers. He felt mistreated and told me about it when he got home. I patted his head and said, “You did great! If he hits you again, you should say, ‘Thank you.’” He ran up to me smiling on the third day when I picked him up and said, “Grandma, he hit me again. When I said, ‘Thank you,’ he ran away.”

Binbin was playing on the playground one day when he and a classmate bumped heads. His nose started bleeding and the teacher got very worried. She began to reprimand his classmate but Binbin said, “Teacher, it was an accident—it was my fault. I accidentally bumped into something.” Binbin’s reaction surprised his teacher, who kept praising him and saying how obedient he was when I picked him up.

I realized this was a good opportunity for me to clarify the truth to the teacher. I began eliminating my attachment of fear and anxiety and told her that we were Falun Dafa practitioners and that Master Li teaches us to abide by the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I also told her about the self-immolation hoax on Tiananmen Square that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) instigated to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners, as well about the boulder with six Chinese characters engraved on it that say “The Chinese Communist Party will perish,” and how Falun Dafa has spread all over the world. I gave her some truth-clarification materials and she said, “The persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners is terrible, just terrible!”

The owner and some of the teachers at Binbin’s preschool learned the truth about Falun Dafa. Three of them chose to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

Clarifying the Truth to My Grandson’s Tutors

There are about a dozen children in Binbin’s tutoring class and two teachers.

Ms. Chen, one of Binbin’s tutors, came to me one day and said, “How come your grandson behaves so differently from the others? He returns lost things to their owner and if the owner can’t be found, he gives it to me. At mealtime, Binbin lets the others get their food first and takes a smaller portion. He never gets into fights and the older children always call him foolish. There aren’t a lot of children like Binbin nowadays. He reminds me of children back in the days where they had pure and compassionate hearts.”

I knew this was my chance to clarify the truth yet again! I followed her lead and started talking about how moral values are rapidly declining; how Jiang Zemin, former head of the CCP, and the Party are slandering Falun Dafa; how the self-immolation hoax was instigated to get people to hate Falun Dafa and increase the intensity of the persecution; and how Falun Dafa practitioners are the victims of forced organ harvesting.

Clarifying the Truth to My Grandson’s Elementary School Teachers

Master bestowed more wisdom upon Binbin when he started elementary school. He has a photographic memory and remembers everything his teachers teach him. Many parents and teachers are amazed.

Ms. Huang, the head teacher for first graders, was praising Binbin one day. I went up to her and whispered, “I am a Falun Dafa practitioner and Binbin started listening to Master Li’s audio lectures when he was only a few months old. Dafa gave him wisdom. He was able to recite Falun Dafa’s Lunyu when he was in preschool, and later on he was able to read Zhuan Falun.”

Ms. Huang said, “Really? My daughter just had a baby. Can the baby listen to Master’s lectures?” I said, “Of course!” She said, “What’s on television is all false!” I said, “I will bring you some truth-clarification materials in a couple of days and you’ll know the truth about Falun Dafa.”

I gave her some truth-clarification materials and Zhuan Falun. After a while, I also gave her Master’s audio lecture series in Guangzhou. She happily accepted it and quit the CCP’s Youth League and Young Pioneers.

When Ms. Huang retired, Ms. Ye took over her position. Ms. Ye would let Binbin handle and resolve many student conflicts.

One day Binbin told me, “Two classmates were fighting and the classroom was in chaos. I told everyone except for those two classmates to leave the room. I heard both sides of the story and told them to look for their own shortcomings. The bell rang and everyone returned to their seats and the conflict was resolved.”

Ms. Ye was very dedicated and recommended that Binbin join the Young Pioneers, so I decided to clarify the truth to her.

Two days prior to our city being locked down due to the pandemic, I headed to her house. I told her I was a Falun Dafa practitioner. I went on to say that Falun Dafa was the universe’s Fa and Jiang Zemin instigated the crackdown and started persecuting practitioners. The pandemic targets people who persecute Falun Dafa and the consequences are very serious.

Ms. Ye said, “You practice Falun Dafa? I saw Falun Dafa practitioners when we went overseas and didn’t dare to accept any flyers from them. I did not imagine that I’d meet a Falun Dafa practitioner in China.”

I told her that we might have a predestined relationship. I started to tell her what Falun Dafa was and the countless miracles that have happened to people on their deathbeds. I also told her how my health improved after taking up the practice.

She also learned about the Tiananmen self-immolation hoax, the evil nature of the CCP, and that she had to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations to be free from the deadly vow she made when she joined the Party. I also told her that in order to stay safe from the pandemic, she needed to quit the CCP and its youth organizations. Ms. Ye said, “I will withdraw from all the Party’s organizations. I also want to read Zhuan Falun.”
