(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 18 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

The Pulandian Procuratorate submitted Mr. Zhang Jun’s case to the Pulandian Court.
Mr. Tan Shouli and Ms. Liu Fengrong were arrested on March 6, 2022. They are being held in the Shunyi Detention Center.
Ms. Zhou Ling and Ms. Chen Jie were placed under surveillance again during the “two meetings” (the National People’s Congress and the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference) on March 5, 2022. Staff from the Hudong neighborhood and police followed their superiors’ orders and stationed people at the gate of their community to watch them.
It is believed that Ms. Li Ying of Dalian Development Zone was imprisoned in the Shenyang Women’s Prison on March 4, 2022. Her family checked her meal card and found the amount was set to zero and it no longer accepted a deposit.
Ms. Zhang Shushan was arrested at 9:00 a.m. on February 17, 2022. Officers took her back home and searched the place between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
Ms. Wang Chunlan, 75, of Xiabei Village, Xiacun Town, Rushan City, was arrested by Domestic Security Division officer Song Xiangjun and four or five officers from the Yuli Town Police Station, when she was talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in Tazhuang Village, Yuli Town, on January 28, 2022. The officers extorted 3,000 yuan from her son and released her on bail.
She afterwords met Song several times, told him stories about how practicing Falun Gong benefited her and society, and the harmful consequence of persecuting practitioners. She asked him to cancel the release on bail and return the 3,000 yuan. Song did not listen to her.
Ms. Tan Chunru, 82, of Shanghailu Community, was harassed at home by a deputy director and an officer from the Wenmiao Police Station on January 28, 2022. They wrote down her words, had her sign the paper, and illegally searched her entire home. Two Falun Gong books rested on a desk. They tried to take them away. She grabbed them back.
Ms. Du Xinqin’s husband, in his 70s, received a call from Hanbin District Domestic Security Division after 8:00 p.m. on February 27, 2022. The caller said they would be at his home the next morning.
Domestic Security Division officer Zhao Silin and driver Wang Lei went to Ms. Du’s home at 8:30 a.m. on February 28. They videotaped her, questioned whose public transportation card she used and where she went. She refused to answer their questions.
Ms. Li Wenfeng has been missing recently.
Ms. Zhang Yumei was arrested and held in the Qizhi Police Station on March 8, 2022, after someone reported her for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong on the street. She was released on the afternoon of March 9.
Ms. Zhang Huabin of Nianzishan District was arrested for unknown reasons on the afternoon of March 1, 2022.
Mr. Wang Zhiyong, who lives in the Miyun District, was arrested and taken to the Miyun Detention Center on February 24, 2022, after someone reported him when he talked to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.
Ms. Leng Xiu was arrested again. She was arrested and released several days ago by officers from the Renminlu Police Station for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.
Ms. Feng Lizhen was arrested by officers from the Xinhe Police Station on April 25, 2020. Her home was ransacked. She was held in the Binhai New District No. 1 Detention Center for criminal detention and was released on June 1, 2020.
The case against her was submitted to the Binhai New District Court by the procuratorate on May 21, 2021. She was sentenced to a year in prison and a year of probation on December 30, 2021.
Ms. Wang Yaping, who lives in the Jiading District, has been under 24 hour surveillance since the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. It is said that she will be watched until March 13, 2022.
