(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 11 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Jiang Yifen Detained

Ms. Jiang Yifen is being held in the No. 2 Detention Center of Harbin City.

2. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Meng Fanqin Detained in a Brainwashing Center

Ms. Meng Fanqin was reported to police for distributing truth-clarifying pamphlets on the street and was arrested by officers from the Badaxia Police Station in the Shinan District around February 17, 2022. Ms. Meng has been detained in a brainwashing center in No. 32 Changzhou Road, Shinan District for nearly three months.

3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Xu Arrested

An elderly practitioner Ms. Xu was arrested by officers from the Caiyu Street Police Station on May 7, 2022 for talking to people about Falun Gong in the local community, Zhonghaishuian Community in Jingyue District. Her home was ransacked.

4. [Chongqing] Three Practitioners Harassed

Ms. Dong Guohui was harassed at home around 10 a.m., on both April 24 and 25, 2022. Some people from the local police station and the neighborhood committee came to her home and warned her not to go out and talk about Falun Gong.

Six people from the Xuanhua Police Station and the Shengli Road Neighborhood Committee went to Ms. Liu Yuanxue’s home at around 8 p.m. on April 24, 2022. Ms. Liu was not at home. Her husband was called back to open the door for them. They searched the home and confiscated two wall posters and two pendants which had Falun Gong content and Ms. Liu’s phone book.

The officers from the Xuanhua Police Station also went to Ms. Shen Guangxiu’s home. They asked whether there were any Falun Gong-related materials and whether Ms. Shen went out to distribute them.

5. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Du Jing Harassed

Officers from the Guanyue Police Station in Yilan County, including deputy Zhu Zhi and officer Zhao Yunong, went to Ms. Du Jing’s home on May 7, 2022. They ransacked her home and confiscated more than 40 Falun Gong books, a pendant, and a sticker which contained the words, “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is Good”. Ms. Du and her husband were taken to the police station for interrogation. They were released at around 3 p.m. that day.

6. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yi Shuying Harassed

Ms. Yi Shuying was harassed at home at noon on May 7, 2022. Eight people from the Wenjiang District 610 Office, the Wenjiang District Brainwashing Center, the local town government and the village office, came and pressured Ms. Yi to sign a guarantee statement. They threatened her with her granddaughter’s education. They didn’t leave until two hours later.

7. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Autonomous Region] Three Practitioners Harassed

Mr. Wang Yuzhou and his wife Ms. Pang Quanlan were harassed at home by local police officers and local community staff members in mid-April 2022.

Ms. Sun Yajuan received a call from Ge Hongmei in the Xihuayuan Community Office on April 30, 2022, requesting Ms. Sun to sign a form, which she refused. Ge Hongmei and the assistant officer Rong Bin from the Xihuayuan Police Station went to Ms. Sun’s home on the morning of May 5, 2022. They attempted to take some photos, but Ms. Sun stopped them.
