(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners from Aichi Prefecture held activities on May 15, 2022 near the fountain at Sakae, the most prosperous area of Nagoya-City, Japan. They demonstrated the exercises and distributed information about Falun Dafa and how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes practitioners, even including killing them for their organs. They also collected signatures on a petition that supports the global effort to sue Jiang Zemin, the former CCP head who launched the persecution.
Many people passed by that day and expressed their support of efforts to expose the persecution. Some signed the petition after learning the facts about Falun Dafa and the persecution in China.

Practitioners talk to passers-by about Falun Dafa
Hearing a woman speaking Chinese, a practitioner handed her some information in Chinese including the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. She took the materials and asked what the event was about. The practitioner told her about Falun Dafa and advised her not to be deceived by the CCP’s propaganda.
The woman told the practitioner that she had lived in Japan for 18 years and was originally from Jilin Province, China. She shared a story about herself and a Falun Dafa practitioner. She said that she owned a business when she was in China. When she became sick and could no longer manage the business, she decided to transfer all her merchandise to other stores. She paid ten yuan a piece for her merchandise. A local shop offered to buy her merchandise at 8 yuan a piece. The owner of another shop, a Falun Dafa practitioner, said that he wouldn’t let her lose money and paid her ten yuan a piece.
“I’ve always had a good impression of Falun Dafa,” the woman said. The practitioner told her that they often came there on Sunday to practice the exercises and introduce Falun Dafa to people and tell them about the persecution in China. The woman said that she would come again.
Four boys in their third year of high school passed by. Practitioners gave them informational brochures and told them about the persecution of Falun Dafa in China. When asked if they would like to sign the petition, they immediately signed and one of them made a “V” (victory) gesture to practitioners. Practitioners gave them little paper lotus flowers which they happily accepted.
Many people from overseas who work in Japan also signed the petition after learning the facts. There are many Vietnamese practitioners in Japan, for example, and they talked about Falun Dafa to other Vietnamese passing by that day.
Three young men from Cambodia stopped to read the information and a practitioner talked to them about Falun Dafa and gave them the informational materials. When they heard that the persecution of practitioners is still going on China, they immediately signed the petition that supports the lawsuit against Jiang.
Another passer-by said in Japanese that she knew about Falun Dafa and already signed the petition. She told practitioners to “Keep on doing it!” and warned them that it was about to rain.
“People truly support us when they understand the truth and we are really happy that these people will have a bright future,” said one of the practitioners there that day.
An elderly gentleman seemed to be in his 60s or 70s, passed by. A practitioner handed him an informational brochure. He stopped to read it so the practitioner told him why they were holding the event.
The gentleman said that he was very aware of the atrocities of the CCP and that all countries with totalitarian dictatorships have something in common. He told the practitioner that his surname is Mr. Ono. He signed the petition with no hesitation. The practitioner gave him a small paper lotus flower with the words "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" and “Falun Dafa is Good” written on them. He gladly accepted it.
