(Minghui.org) I recently held some bad thoughts about another practitioner, and I thought she was rather annoying. How could she be like this? Actually, she didn’t do or say anything that made me develop such a thought – it was all in my imagination.
I tried to reject these thoughts and look within. What attachment did I have? Why did I develop such negative thoughts about her? I reminded myself that these thoughts weren’t mine, and I needed to reject and get rid of them. But it wasn’t easy. A few days later, I had those thoughts again.
One day this practitioner came to my house to discuss something. Her voice was very soft and calm. But I spoke loudly to her. She told me that speaking very loudly is developed from being from the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) indoctrination I faced on a daily basis. After she left, I sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate it.
All my bad thoughts about this fellow practitioner have since disappeared. I was amazed. I was full of gratitude toward her. I appreciated that she pointed out my attachment when she saw it. When I met with her again, I felt she was very kind and friendly. I had a lot to say to her, and I was able to speak softly. I felt that the negative substance in the other dimension had been removed.
This experience made me realize that sometimes it’s hard for us to see our own problems, as we are being indoctrinated by the CCP. If fellow practitioners see our attachments and point them out, it may create an opportunity for all of us to improve. Falun Dafa practitioners are one body, and we need to improve ourselves as a whole.
I appreciate this fellow practitioner’s help very much. I would like to share with other practitioners that if you see another practitioners’ attachments, please tell him or her. This will help us all improve.
