(Minghui.org) During the 20 plus years of Fa-rectification, Falun Dafa practitioners have been clarifying the truth to people in different ways and saving people, including those who work for the 610 Office, Political and Legal Affairs Committee, police departments, procuratorate, the courts, and so on.
In some places, the persecution of Falun Dafa is still severe, and the regime is still arresting Falun Dafa practitioners, including those who are in their 80s and 90s. As they carry out the persecution, the police officers and other people participating in the persecution will lose their future.
I would like to share some stories about elderly practitioners in our area who distribute materials containing information about Falun Dafa and talk with police officers about the spiritual practice.
One day, we went to a police station. An officer said, “You are all in your 80s and 90s, why did you come here?” I said, “We came to give you brochures. We hope all of you will be safe. Here are the brochures, please read them and share with everyone who works here.” The officer accepted the brochures gladly. Another officer came up and said, “I have received quite a few brochures from you, and have read all of them. For over 20 years! How can we not know about you?” I said, “You already know about us, but that doesn’t mean everybody else knows.”
When we went to another police station, one practitioner started talking about the persecution Dafa practitioners have been suffering, but the officers didn’t want to listen. Then, I said, “We are here to give you fliers that tell you how you can protect yourself during the pandemic.” Upon hearing that, they accepted the brochures. I gave one of the officers a sticker that read “Falun Dafa is good.” I said to him, “Please hang this on your door, and the pandemic won’t dare touch your family.” He said, “Thank you, thank you” and took two more brochures.
Later we went to that police station again, and brought 10 brochures. A different officer was on shift that day and asked us who we were looking for. I said we wanted to see the director. He said the director was in a meeting. I said: “Then we will leave you with a few brochures, which can keep you safe in a catastrophe. This pandemic is weeding out bad people. Only when you understand the facts about Falun Dafa can you be saved.” The officer immediately bowed to me with his hands folded in the front, and said, “Thank you. Thank you.”
At another police station, I said to an officer, “Did you know that practicing Falun Dafa is not against the law?” He yelled angrily, “I will arrest you! Stop talking about Falun Gong to me!” He kept yelling so we left.
After we left the police station, we looked inward to see if our way of talking about Falun Dafa or the tone we used was incorrect. When we went to that police station to hand out pamphlets on another day, we met that officer again. All of the other officers took the materials, but he refused to. However, his attitude was not as bad as it was previously.
While I was on the way to a police station, a person reported me when I spoke with him about the goodness of Falun Dafa. He grabbed my arm and wouldn’t let go. I sat down and said loudly, “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. Understanding the truth can keep you safe during the pandemic and other disasters.” I sat there for over 20 minutes. A few police officers came, but they didn’t ask for my name. One of them said, “You can go home. Give your materials to us.” Then I stood up and went home.
One day, we went to a police station that we had visited before to give them memory cards. An officer took one, and then he asked for another one. I asked him why he wanted more. He said, “I want to share with my colleagues.” I gave him another one and he immediately passed it to another officer.
Actually, many police officers, people working in the 610 Office, and neighborhood offices want the brochures we distribute, but they feel uneasy accepting them out of fear. If we give them in a more discreet way, they accept the fliers more readily.
Besides visiting police stations and talking face to face with people, we also often mail the informational brochures to the 610 Office, Political and Legal Affairs Committee, procuratorate, and the courts. Many people working for those organizations now understand the facts. Even when some practitioners are reported by people who don’t know the facts, the police officers in our area usually just take them away, and then release them on the same day or a few days later.
We are grateful to Master Li for his compassionate protection and for safeguarding us.
