(Minghui.org) Recently, a practitioner included Falun Gong exercise movements in a video program that she posted online. Several of us shared our views on this and all agreed that this act has seriously undermined the Fa.
Except for the video officially produced with Master’s personal demonstration of the exercise movements, no practitioner can produce videos demonstrating the movements, use them on any occasion or post them on any website, in the name of spreading the Fa. It is fine to demonstrate the exercise movements to people in person during Dafa activities, but one must not make such videos for distribution or publication. We cannot sabotage the immensely solemn and magnificent Dafa.
The above conduct was not an isolated case. Another practitioner recently posted a short video with movements from the fifth set of exercises on WeChat, a popular social media platform in China. The video was taken down a few days later. Except for one fellow practitioner pointing out its inappropriateness, all of the other fellow practitioners who commented on the video liked it. One practitioner even posted a poem of Master’s and the verses of the fifth exercise in the comment section.
I also saw a practitioner citing Master’s poem in his TikTok video without indicating the source. These actions were all seriously undermining or plagiarizing the Fa.
I would like to remind the practitioners who made and liked these videos to be aware of the seriousness of their actions and how it was undermining the Fa due to the indulgence of their attachments.
