1. [Shanghai] Ms. Li Muzhen Arrested

1. [Shanghai] Ms. Li Muzhen Arrested
Ms. Li Muzhen from the Pudong New Area was arrested by officers from the Lujiazui Police Station on the afternoon of December 12, 2022. Ms. Li was forced to take antigen and PCR tests at the police station. The police collected her fingerprints and urine samples, photographed her, and recorded her voice.
The officers claimed that someone reported that she violated Article 27 of the Public Security Punishment Regulations and promoted Falun Gong. They wanted to place her under five days of administrative detention, to be served later. Ms. Li was allowed to return home that night.
2. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Guo Fengrong’s Home Ransacked
Four or five officers from the Linshanzhai Police Station ransacked Ms. Guo Fengrong’s home on Huashan Road, Zhongyuan District on the evening of December 14, 2022. They confiscated many items from her home, including experience sharing papers she wrote as well as those she transcribed, and notes she compiled.
3. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Liu Haizhen Harassed
Ms. Liu Haizhen was resting at home at around 3:30 p.m. on December 16, 2022, when she suddenly heard Yang Jun, a residential officer from the Dongjiayao Police Station, and others, knocking on the door. Ms. Liu asked Yang why he came to her home. He replied, “We came to see you. The situation is complicated. Don’t go around.” Then a woman who was with him used her cell phone to photograph Ms. Liu.
