Teju is a human rights defender who traveled to the United Nations to speak up for refugees. He pays attention to human rights issues, especially in places like China and southeast Asia. He was also aware of the CCP’s concentration camps for Uyghurs and about its suppression of democracy in Hong Kong.
“The CCP has always been covering up the truth. The media does not cover much about it either. Take the current COVID-19 pandemic (CCP virus) for example, the CCP is hiding the true number of pandemic cases and the world does not know what is exactly going on in China,” he said.
