Ms. Yin Qiuyang was arrested by officers from the Yingfeng Police Station around October 16, 2023. She is being held in the Huaihua City Detention Center.
Ms. Wu Fangming was arrested by officers from the Hexi Police Station on September 28, 2023. She is being held in the Huaihua City Detention Center.
Ms. Xu Aiqin from Bizi Village, Gushan Town, was arrested by officers from the Gushan Town Police Station while distributing desk calendars at the Gushan farmers market on October 22, 2023. The police ransacked her home and confiscated her Falun Gong books. Her whereabouts are unknown.
Ms. Zhang Lianhua and Ms. Chang Guihua were arrested by officers from the Jianming Town Police Station on the afternoon of October 31, 2023. Further information is pending.
Ms. Meng Meihua is about 65 years old. On August 29, 2023, the police deceived Ms. Meng into going to the police station to review documents related to the hotel she operated. She was subsequently held in the interrogation room, threatened, and interrogated. The officers threatened to lock her up in a detention center and impose a heavy fine.
