(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 8 provinces, where at least 14 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

6. [Fusong County, Jilin Province] Ms. Yang Peirong Arrested and Detained
7. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Mr. Liu Libo Sentenced to Eight Months in Prison
8. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhao Yan Arrested
9. [Wuping County, Fujian Province] Ms. Wang Juxiang Arrested and Detained
10. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Qin Side Arrested and Detained
11. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Jun to Be Released

1. [Baotou City, Inner Mongolia] Three Practitioners Face Trial

The cases against Mr. Wang Ying, Ms. Zhang Ruitong, and Ms. Meng Lili, were filed to the Donghe District Procuratorate on September 28, 2023. They will be tried in court on November 27 and 28, 2023.

2. [Beijing] Mr. Lu Sumin Faces Trial

Ms. Lu Sumin will be tried in the Shijingshan Court at 9:30 a.m. on November 20, 2023.

3. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Mr. Wang Xiangchen Arrested

Mr. Wang Xiangchen was reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong and was arrested on November 12, 2023. He is currently held in the Yinchuan City Detention House.

4. [Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Su Xianghong Passed Away

Ms. Su Xianghong from Tanzhou Town, 78, was arrested on July 12, 2019, and was later sentenced to three years in prison. She was detained for more than a year until she was paralyzed. She was allowed to go home to serve her sentence outside of prison. Ms. Su was harassed twice a month after she returned home. She died on October 12, 2023.

5. [Tianjin] Ms. Dong Shuhong and Ms. Han Shuyun Arrested and Detained

Ms. Dong Shuhong and Ms. Han Shuyun from the Wuqing District were reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong on September 4, 2023. Officers from the Damengzhuang Police Station ransacked both two practitioners’ homes on September 23, 2023. They were arrested by officers from the Damengzhuang Police Station in early November. They were detained for 15 days in the Wuqing District Detention Center and were released on November 16, 2023.

6. [Fusong County, Jilin Province] Ms. Yang Peirong Arrested and Detained

Ms. Yang Peirong from Fusong County was arrested on November 3, 2023, and was detained for 7 days in a detention house. Her home was ransacked and her Falun Gong books were confiscated.

7. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Mr. Liu Libo Sentenced to Eight Months in Prison

Mr. Liu Libo taught at the No. 2 Middle School. He was reported to police when he distributed information about Falun Gong and was fired from his job. He was sentenced to eight months in prison and detained from March 16 to November 16, 2023.

8. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhao Yan Arrested

Ms. Zhao Yan was intercepted by railway police officers who searched her belongings when she was boarding a train at the Chengdu Railway Station on November 17, 2023. Her home was ransacked by officers from the Jiefu Road Police Station. Ms. Zhao was later released on bail pending trial.

9. [Wuping County, Fujian Province] Ms. Wang Juxiang Arrested and Detained

Ms. Wang Juxiang from Wuping County, 51, was placed under residential surveillance on June 19, 2022. She was taken to a detention center on November 4, 2023.

10. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Qin Side Arrested and Detained

Ms. Qin Side, 66, from Shibei District, was arrested by officers from the Dengzhou Road Police Station on November 10, 2023. She was placed under 30-day detention.
