(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 15 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Wang Ruijuan Sentenced to Five Years in Prison
Ms. Wang Ruijuan, 66, was arrested in March 2023 for distributing information about Falun Gong in 2022. She was sentenced to five years in prison.
2. [Longquan City, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Hua Jianhao Tried in Court
Mr. Hua Jianhao was arrested and sent to the Longquan City Detention Center. He was tried in the Liandu District Court in Lishui City on March 25, 2023.
3. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Jin Chaohong Sentenced to 10 Months in Prison
Ms. Jin Chaohong from Shanhaiguan District was arrested on May 10, 2023, when she attended group Fa study on May 10, 2023. She was first held for 15 days in a detention house and was later transferred to a detention center. Her family learned on November 17, 2023, that she was sentenced to 10 months in prison.
4. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Yan Shanwei Tried in Court
Mr. Yan Shanwei was tried at the Pulandian Court in Jinpu New District on the afternoon of November 24, 2023. Judge Liu Jianzhuang did not allow her family members to enter the courtroom.
5. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] The Case Against Ms. Wang Guihong Submitted to the Procuratorate
Ms. Wang Guihong from Zhuanghe, 64, was placed under official arrest and detained in the Yaojia Detention Center. Her case was submitted to the procuratorate.
6. [Tianjin] Ms. Liu Shuling Tried in Court
Ms. Liu Shuling was tried in court on November 6, 2023. She talked about her spiritual belief, Falun Gong, during the hearing. She may face a second hearing on November 30, 2023.
7. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Geng Yulin Persecuted
Ms. Geng Yulin, 58, was arrested by three officers from the Xiguan Police Station in a beauty shop on the afternoon of April 26, 2023. She was placed under 15-day detention and was taken to a detention house. After she held a hunger strike for five days, she was taken back home by officers from the Xiguan Police Station. She was told they would return three days later and take her back to the detention house. Ms. Geng left home to avoid further persecution.
8. [Tianjin] Ms. Yan Shumin Harassed
Ms. Yan Shumin from Dongli District, 65, was harassed at her home by two officers at 3 p.m. on November 8, 2023. They wanted to know whether she still practiced Falun Gong and they photographed her. One of the officers came to her home to harass her three times this year.
9. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Qiu Meiling Harassed
Ms. Qiu Meiling was harassed by two officers from the Cuiping Police Station at 11 a.m. on November 20, 2023. One officer asked whether she still practiced Falun Gong while the other one videotaped her. They tried to search her home but she stopped them.
10. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Yabin Missing
Ms. Wang Yabin, 59, lives near a silk mill in the Xiangfang District. She has been missing since April 11, 2023.
11. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Meng Fanzeng Sentenced to One Year and Five Months
Mr. Meng Fanzeng works at the Water Supply Company, Daqing Petroleum Administration Bureau. He was recently sentenced to one year and five months in prison and sent to a detention center.
12. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Peng Caizhu Arrested and Detained
Ms. Peng Caizhu was arrested at home on November 21, 2023, and was placed under 10-day detention. Her home was ransacked.
13. [Zhoukou City, Henan Province] Mr. Liu Guoliang Arrested
Mr. Liu Guoliang from Huaiyang District was arrested at home on November 16, 2023. The police ransacked his home and confiscated his Falun Gong books, laptop, computer, cash, etc.
14. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Xinhua Harassed
Ms. Zhang Xinhua from Xuanhua District was harassed at home by two officers from the Huangcheng Police Station at 3 p.m. on November 16, 2023. They photographed her. The same officers also went to harass another practitioner and photographed her.
