(Minghui.org) I live in a seaside city. People from all over China come here in the spring, summer, and fall on vacation. I asked Master to help me meet them and tell them the facts about Dafa so they can be saved. I’ve had many touching experiences that I’d like to share with you.

On the beach, I met a retired high-ranking official who was excited when I told him about Falun Dafa. He said, “Ah, I finally get to meet a Falun Dafa practitioner. I’ve paid attention to you guys all these years. You have done nothing wrong. You have suffered a lot. You must persevere. You are the hope of the Chinese people.”

My wife and I both practice Falun Dafa. As we walked down the hill towards the beach one day, a couple was standing there, as though they were waiting for us. We chatted a bit and learned that the husband was a retired criminal investigator. I asked him, “As a police officer, I hope you did not persecute Falun Dafa.” He said, “No, I did not.”

I told them how Falun Dafa is practiced in over a hundred countries around the world and that May 13 is World Falun Dafa Day. I said, “Practitioners around the world will celebrate the day when it was first introduced to the public on May 13, 1992, by Master Li Hongzhi. Many senators and congressmen in the U.S. and Canada support Falun Dafa. Some cities in Canada raised a Falun Dafa flag alongside the national flag this year.”

The detective was surprised and said, “Falun Dafa is from China—why would Canada raise a Falun Dafa flag?” I said, “The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes Falun Dafa. Many practitioners were arrested and put in jail or even tortured to death for just putting up a poster or displaying a banner with ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ Many people outside China know about the persecution and want to show their support.

“Mr. Li Xiwang from Tianjin was imprisoned and tortured to death for hanging banners. His brother was persecuted to death before Li Xiwang was killed. Mr. Yang Yuyong from the Wuqing District of Tianjin was beaten to death by the Wuqing Detention Center staff for practicing Falun Dafa. He was beaten so badly that his ear was nearly torn off, and his back was all bloody. The Wuqing Police Department agreed to compensate the family when they sued but only on the condition that they not disclose any information, otherwise their two children would be arrested. You can see how evil the CCP is. I’ll give you a USB flash drive to look at.” They were moved and thanked me.

I met someone wearing a mask hurrying down the street. I asked, “Why are you wearing a mask? The air by the sea is so fresh.” He took the mask off, and I asked him where he was from. He said he was from Kaifeng and had been in town for four days.

I said, “Kaifeng? There was a police chief there named Ren Changxia, who followed Jiang Zemin closely to discredit Falun Dafa and persecute its practitioners. She was thrown out of a car in an accident and died, while the others in the car were safe. Her husband accepted compensation for her death, but he died from cancer two years later.

“Falun Dafa cultivates Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance while the CCP is known for falsehoods, cruelty, and combativeness. They fabricated the self-immolation hoax on Tiananmen Square to smear Falun Dafa. They even put it in elementary schools textbooks.”

He said, “We know all this. They lied and fabricated cases to slander Falun Dafa.” I said, “The CCP is so evil. We should not be a part of it. If you have joined it or its affiliated organizations, please quit.” He said, “I supported the college students’ June 4 activity in 1989.” I said, “We need to openly declare that we have quit the CCP for it to be effective.” He agreed.

I met him the next day. I gave him a USB drive and the number confirming that he had quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations from the Epoch Times website.
