People Change When They Believe the Truth about Falun Dafa

(Minghui.org) I have noticed that people who believe the truth about Falun Dafa have gone through dramatic changes recently. I would like to share some of my findings in this article.

Police Officers and Local Community Management Committee Staff

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched the “zero-out” and “knocking on the door” policies in 2021. Those who took part were either police officers or community management committee staff members. Because Falun Dafa practitioners have clarified the truth and handed out Dafa informational materials, the evil forces have become weaker and the persecutors’ minds clearer on what they should or shouldn’t do. We should make use of this opportunity to clarify the facts with compassion to save them.

Four police officers knocked on my door one late afternoon in September 2021. I wasn’t home at the time, but my daughter asked them, “What law did my mother violate?” They were cautious about what they said. They claimed that they just wanted to see me. My daughter told me about what happened later that night. After I discussed the situation with my husband, who is also a practitioner, I decided to call them.

I spoke to the officer in charge whose last name was Zhang to arrange to meet them. They drove to a place near my home at five p.m. to meet me. Seeing those young officers, I had compassion for them. I said to Zhang, “You have worked so hard and been so busy yet you still came. It’s only because you are in uniform, otherwise, I’d have treated you to a drink in the coffee shop, where we could talk better. You have a lot to take on in your job, and you have to finish the tasks assigned by your supervisors.”

Zhang was polite, but the officer beside him took out a video recorder. My husband stopped him and said, “If you were to record the conversation we are about to have, it would cause trouble for you, because it won’t be easy to report it to your manager.”

The officer quickly put it away. There were two young police officers standing behind him. They didn’t say anything and just listened.

I said to Zhang, “You have been a police officer for many years, so you should have some understanding of Falun Gong, also called Falun Dafa, right?” He told me that one of his primary school teachers also practiced Falun Dafa, so he knew a little bit about it. I said, “We practice to improve ourselves and be good people. I have been a head teacher for nearly 20 years. You know how parents place so much importance on their child’s education. It’s common for them to give gifts and red envelopes to the head teacher to look after their child. I returned the gifts. They were worth a few hundred thousand yuan. If I didn’t practice Dafa, there is no way I would have done that. Who is disinterested in money these days? Especially those parents who decided to give it to me.”

I told him about the officer who used to be in charge of this area whose last name is Du. He told me that Du had been transferred to another county after being promoted. I commented, “A good person has a good outcome waiting for him. Du never came to my home. He just sent me a few text messages and that was it. But you came to my home in uniform. What kind of impact would that have?”

He replied with a smile, “I am so sorry! I only took on this job recently. I didn’t know about you and wanted to meet you.”

I continued, “You look very kind. I hope you’ll get promoted one day like Du.”

“I wouldn’t expect that,” he responded.

I said, “Good will be rewarded with good. Therefore, a good person will receive good fortune.” We chatted for a while, then they got in their car and left. I never heard from them again.

Right before the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, officials from the local 610 Office ordered community management committee staff to find me. I was away from home, so they called the director of the security department at my school, asking me to return their call. I talked with my husband and decided to meet them.

We went to the community management office at five p.m.. There were four female staff members there, with two looking a bit older than the other two. I introduced myself and told them why I was there. They were caught off guard, as they didn’t expect I’d come to see them. One senior woman, who looked a bit aggressive, asked me many questions. “When did you start practicing? The state prohibits it, but you still practice!” She also said that, since they couldn’t find me for quite a while, they were going to go to my school to hunt me down.

I spoke to her calmly and mentioned how ill I was before I practiced Falun Dafa, and no matter how many hospitals I went to, there was nothing anyone could do. After I began to practice Dafa, I recovered, and I didn’t have to take any medication, I also followed the Falun Dafa principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, put others first, was considerate of my students at all times, and cared about them. I also turned down or returned gifts valued at several hundred thousand yuan. The students and their parents respected me.

After hearing that, the two older women stopped being so serious and began to talk to me in a cheerful manner. The younger girls looked at us and listened as I told them how wonderful Dafa is.

Liu, who seemed to be in charge, claimed that I had to fill out some paperwork. While opening them one by one, she began to read, “Personal information sheet. Commitment and Repentance Statements.”

I replied seriously, “So vicious! Such a wonderful practice only teaches people to be good, yet the CCP wants people to give it up!” That startled one of the women, and she made an excuse to leave. I continued, “Now, so many police officers are clear about the truth and know everyone has to be accountable for what they do. Will there be anything good waiting for those who persecute the Buddha Law? Zhou Yongkang [secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Committee] was sentenced to life imprisonment, Li Dongsheng [vice-minister of Public Security who orchestrated the staged ‘self-immolation on Tiananmen Square’] was sentenced to 15 years. Many police officers look for ways to protect themselves and no longer do bad things. You should follow suit. Do you know why the people in the community management committee left those papers with you? Let me tell you clearly, I will not sign them, as that’s really not good for you.”

My husband also talked to them. When Liu saw that we were truly there for them, she called the local community management committee and said, “They don’t want to sign. I can’t do anything. I don’t want to deal with it anymore.” I said, “Well done!”

The woman who left the room came back and said to me, “If we weren’t in charge of your area, we wouldn’t have had to talk to you.”

I smiled. Before my husband and I left, we cautioned everyone in the room, “Given the pandemic, please for remember ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!’ I hope that everyone remains safe!” They never called me again.

Students and Colleagues Learned the Truth

Happy and Grateful from Deep Down Inside

Ningning was a new female student in my class. After class, she always joked with me. Later, she just called me her godmother and hung around me all day long. I thought this girl had a great predestined relationship with me, but how could I clarify the facts to her? When Master saw my wish, the opportunity presented itself.

One afternoon when I finished one class and was about to leave for another, the class representative usually brought my coat over to me. But before I could get it, Ningning grabbed it and ran to another class, claiming that the coat belonged to her. I just ignored her and went to my next class. I later went back to get my coat from her. There was some small change and two amulets in my pocket. I was certain that she saw the amulets, as she joked, saying that the coat was in such a poor state.

I took her to a quiet place and asked if she had seen the amulets. She told me frankly, “I have! I also read what’s written on them out loud.” She said that, since I had an amulet during the pandemic, she wanted one. What an innocent child! I took the opportunity to tell her that Falun Dafa is Buddha Law cultivation and teaches people to be good by following Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. If she remembered these words, she would be protected by gods and Buddhas. “Wonderful!” she exclaimed. I told her that Dafa was being persecuted and cautioned her to be careful when mentioning it. She nodded understanding.

Soon enough, the school made an emergency announcement that, due to the pandemic, students had to leave the school by 11 a.m.. After that, they had to attend online classes from home. I got an amulet and went looking for Ningning. I talked to her about quitting the CCP, gave her the amulet, and asked her to put it away. When she learned that I came to school only to deliver the amulet to her, she was so excited that she gave me a hug, saying that I treated her so well!

The school re-opened after the Chinese New Year, and we were in different classes. I ran into her on the stairs. As soon as she saw me, she shouted “Godmother! My godmother!” Her voice was so loud that she startled the other students. I could feel her joy and gratitude coming from the bottom of her heart.

People with Predestined Relationships Learn the Truth

After the lockdown, we couldn’t leave our district until we had a nucleic acid test. Only after that were we allowed to venture inside the district.

I ran into a former colleague, whom I’d only chatted with a couple of times before. She was kind but strong-willed and seemed to have a lot of free time as she spent quite some time strolling around. One afternoon I gave her a few amulets and told her that by sincerely reciting the words written on it, she’d be protected by gods during the pandemic.

She told me that the mother of her nephew’s wife practiced Falun Dafa and often reminded her children to treat her in-laws well. She always had a positive attitude and was in good spirits. She told me that she gave her a Dafa book but had never read it. It must have been Master who arranged for us to meet.

The next evening, I ran into her again. She greeted me warmly. I asked if she knew about quitting the CCP. She said she didn’t. I talked to her about the significance of quitting and helped her do it. I asked her if she had ever seen any truth-clarification DVDs, which she hadn’t.

I prepared a USB drive with truth-clarification videos on it and gave it to her the next time I took the nucleic acid test. The lockdown was then lifted, and we no longer needed to have the nucleic acid test. I never saw her again. I hoped this kind person would begin practicing Dafa cultivation.

Master brings people with predestined relationships to us. We should firmly believe that, as long as we talk to them, there will be chances for them to be saved. In our day-to-day life, it’s very important to cultivate well, because people will notice and remember our every word and action.
