(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in Hanover, Germany and surrounding areas hold monthly information days in central Hanover, with the last one happening on September 8, 2023. The golden colored booth, near a train station, attracted the attention of many passersby. People came to the booth from time to time to learn about Falun Dafa, and the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of the spiritual cultivation practice, and signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution.
Falun Dafa practitioners held an information day event in central Hanover on September 8, 2023.
During the event practitioners noticed that more and more people had been informed about Falun Dafa and the CCP regime’s persecution of the cultivation practice. Often people came to say that they were happy to see practitioners holding information days, and they signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution. Many people thanked the practitioners and wished the event a success.
“Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are the Cornerstones on Which People Coexist.”
The gentleman in the above photo was attracted by the informational banner, and signed in support of practitioners calling for an end to the persecution.
One gentleman who passed by the booth was immediately attracted by the large banner that displayed the words “The World Needs Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.” He also noticed the display boards urging people to sign the petition calling for an end to the persecution. He said to a practitioner, “When I see what you are doing, I cannot ignore it or turn a blind eye.”
He said that the three principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance were important. “To me, it’s impossible for people to coexist in a society without these building blocks,” he said.
After learning about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong (also called Falun Dafa), especially harvesting organs from living practitioner, this gentleman signed the petition asking authorities to end the persecution. “This is too cruel,” he said, “Just thinking about a picture of it terrifies me. This is so terrible and I cannot stand it!”
Signing the Petition to Clearly Express a Stance Against Persecution
The lady in the photo said that she would find out more about Falun Dafa after returning home.
A woman stood in front of the booth holding a thoughtful expression. She attentively read the information on the display boards. She told a practitioner that she felt she should sign the petition calling for an end to the persecution. She thought that organ harvesting from living people was “quite dreadful.” She learned about the CCP’s persecution from a practitioner. She said she would share the information with her daughter.
She worried that she “has very little power” before she signed the petition. A practitioner told her that her signature could clearly express her position, which calls for ending the persecution. It is very important that the German government formally dissociate itself from these human rights violations. The people’s sentiment can be seen in the tens of thousands of signatures.
She agreed with the practitioner. Upon leaving, she accepted a paper lotus flower written with the words Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.
“Your Activities are Touching”
This gentleman signed a petition asking that everyone call for an end to the persecution.
When a practitioner handed a brochure about organ harvesting to a gentleman passing by, he said that he already knew about Falun Gong and the CCP’s crime of organ harvesting, through media reports.
“Honestly, I think this phrase (organ harvesting from living people) is very scary. Just hearing it makes my hair stand up.” Without hesitating, this gentleman signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution.
Speaking of Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, he said, “This is completely in line with my views.” He said that practitioners’ activities were touching.
