(Minghui.org) Practitioners held activities in Haydar Aliyev Park, located on Istanbul’s coastline, on August 19, 2023. They introduced Falun Gong (also called Falun Dafa) and exposed the ongoing Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution.

During the same week, information about Falun Dafa was published in Ogis News, a national media agency. The article detailed what Falun Dafa is, its history, teachings, exercises, health benefits, awards, and the ongoing persecution by the CCP regime.

Watching practitioners doing the Falun Dafa exercises, Sue became interested. She tried the fifth exercise and said that she was resting while meditating. Before she left, she and a practitioner repeated the phrases, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance is good.”
One man asked a practitioner why atheism was so widespread in China and what destiny meant. When the practitioner shared his understanding, he welcomed it. He signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution in China.
When a couple saw the practitioners, they asked what they were doing. They took a brochure and came back just as they were leaving. They said they admired the practitioners doing the fifth exercise. They received additional information about the group practice site.
