Cultivation in Dafa Is Serious
Cultivate as you did in the beginning, and you are sure to succeed—this is a true saying in the cultivation community. Since being brought to the public, Dafa has revealed many important heavenly secrets, delivering an unprecedented shock to the world’s people, the cultivation community, and even the realm of the gods. People with or without a predestined connection have come one after another to obtain Dafa and practice cultivation. When some people first began practicing cultivation, their hearts were very steadfast. However, there are some who, in the course of their cultivation, still have trouble letting go of the various kinds of attachments they formed over the long term, and as time goes on, some people have started slacking off; and on top of that, they get busy with work and haven’t managed their home environments well, so they have even less time to study the Fa and do the exercises; and although they occasionally participate in some group activities, they’re not able to be diligent. Over time, they are no longer like a cultivator at all and even start doing things practitioners shouldn’t do. If it continues like this, it will be very dangerous!
When first stepping in to become a Fa-rectification-period Dafa disciple, every person’s knowing side made a vow to the gods and signed a contract promising with his life to fulfill the historic mission that a Dafa disciple should undertake, so from that moment his life was no longer governed by the Three Realms. And so Master completely removed Dafa disciples’ names from the Three Realms, from the human world, and from the netherworld, including Hell. From that moment, Dafa disciples’ lives were governed by Dafa alone, and they would no longer enter into reincarnation, and even if they had committed sins, they would still not be governed by Hell. Those who cultivate well will achieve consummation and return to their positions in the new cosmos to command their own heavenly kingdoms. Those who fail in cultivation, break their vows, or commit sins against Dafa must honor the promise they made with their lives! It’s just that Master is merciful and has been giving them chances all this time. Yet they don’t know to be grateful and keep clinging to their attachments ever so tightly without letting go.
Even though the form of Dafa disciples’ cultivation practice is loosely structured, the standards for cultivators are strict, and the historic mission is serious and of great importance. This is because after consummation, Dafa disciples will become special beings, and in the eyes of all the gods in the cosmos, they will be remarkable great enlightened beings, accomplished during the Fa-rectification period. Why are the old forces so harsh on Dafa disciples? On the one hand, it’s done out of jealousy; on the other hand, they look down on certain Dafa disciples whose human attachments are too many and too strong, who don’t handle things according to the Fa when encountering situations, and who look at issues from the perspective of their human attachments. Thus, those who don’t do well will have big tribulations, and if it goes on like that for a long time, it’s very dangerous!
Fa-rectification is already drawing to a close. The old forces want to eliminate a batch of those who haven’t been able to genuinely cultivate or who have been in long-term breach of their contracts and aren’t able to fulfill their historic missions. For this reason, they use demons and attach them to the bodies of some of the worst people who have mixed in among the practitioners, utilizing these people’s human notions, attachments, resentment, and other wicked thoughts to stir up those practitioners who haven’t been on the Fa and who aren’t truly cultivating. On the surface, it looks like the purpose is to disrupt Dafa disciples’ environment, but in reality, the old forces are using them to clean out a group of Dafa disciples, exposing those among disciples who are just mucking around, who in their cultivation cannot pull themselves out of their attachments, who have strayed from the Fa for a long time, and who have become unable to practice cultivation. At this critical juncture, those who follow along are precisely the ones who will be picked out, and the purpose is to eliminate them. This is the real reason behind the old forces using the people who are currently causing trouble.
Those who cause trouble are being controlled by the demons, but they themselves don’t know it, so of course they won’t admit it. The problem is there really are some people who are attached and disgruntled who will give these individuals an audience, flattering and accepting them, listening and paying attention to them, totally ignoring the seriousness of Dafa and cultivation. Dafa is heaven’s Fa, and no one can mess it up! What’s messed up is the human heart! Those who have acted up are precisely the ones the old forces want to eliminate. Those who haven’t been in accordance with the Fa for a long time should pay special attention. Those who carry attachments and are resentful, or even those who were dismissed from Dafa projects due to their mistakes and who hold grudges—they are the most likely to follow along. When these people get together to vent their resentments, their attachments are on full display. We’ve seen that these kinds of people never stop to consider for a moment from the Fa: Is it right to have a disgruntled heart? Is this what a cultivator should have? Does it conform to the Fa? If you don’t cultivate well, that’s your own business, but when you severely undermine the Fa and impact saving people, then the matter becomes gravely serious. How could the enormous “Fa-rectification” arranged by the Creator and the gods for hundreds of millions of years for the salvation of sentient beings be allowed to be interfered with by the world’s people! This is the worst crime that no beings in any of the realms should ever commit!
Still some others say, “I’ve long stopped cultivating,” and they believe they’re now outsiders, so they’re free to say or do things that damage Dafa. I hereby tell these people: When you first stepped into Dafa, you had already used your life to sign a contract. No matter how old or young you were, or how much time has passed, making a vow is serious. In other words, for those who say they have stopped cultivating, and those who have left Dafa whether in the early days or recently, you still have to fulfill your vow whether you cultivate or not. Initially, when you wanted to become a Dafa disciple during the Fa-rectification of the cosmic Dafa, that was very, very serious. This is a momentous choice for a being; moreover, it’s a vow that was signed with one’s life! So you think you can just cultivate if you want to and stop if you don’t want to? How could humans be allowed to make a joke of this heavy cosmic responsibility, of the gods, and of the Creator! Once a vow is signed, it must be fulfilled!
In regard to these people, out of mercy, Master is explaining the Fa to you once more, and for the last time. As to where you will end up, you look out for yourself! The old forces have used such a huge country controlled by the evil CCP in an all-out suppression—are you still not clear about the seriousness of cultivation? For humans to become gods—this is unprecedented in history, how could it not be serious? Are all the various painful lessons Dafa disciples have faced in cultivation when they didn’t do well still not enough to wake you up?
