(Minghui.org) Practitioners from Denpasar, Bali and surrounding areas held an activity to introduce Falun Dafa at Puputan Badung Square on Sunday, October 6, 2024. They were welcomed by residents and tourists.

Puputan Badung is one of the city parks located in the heart of Denpasar City. The practitioners’ waist drum team performed and practitioners also demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises. They told people about the practice and the persecution in China. They offered passersby a chance to sign a petition to help end the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) suppression of Falun Dafa in China, which many signed.

The waist drum team performance attracted the attention of park visitors.

The event coordinator, Wayan Gelgel, said, “The purpose of this activity is to introduce Falun Dafa to more people, and while spreading the goodness of the universal values of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, we also raise public awareness of the ongoing persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners by the CCP in China.”

Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are Very Important

Sarjana, a former high school teacher, said, “I’ve know of Falun Dafa for quite some time.” He explained that one of his friends who practices Dafa experienced significant health benefits, and told him about the goodness of the practice.

Sarjana said, “I think Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are very important and should be widely introduced and transmitted to the younger generation, most of whom have experienced a decline in morality.” He hopes that by spreading Falun Dafa to young people they will be able to do good things.

Wing Hiem Tam, who lives in Denpasar, signed the petition calling to end the persecution. It was the first time that he heard about CCP’s harvesting organs from living practitioners and selling the organs for profit. He was shocked, and expressed his support for practitioners’ peaceful activities, “I hope these CCP crimes will end soon.”

Upon seeing the gentle exercises, Era was interested in learning how to practice Falun Dafa, and said, “I will arrange a time to join the group practice.” When she heard about the brutal persecution experienced by practitioners in China, she immediately signed the petition, and said, “I hope practitioners in China can get their basic human rights as human beings.”
