(Minghui.org) Practitioners participated in the Fall Festival in West Boylston on October 19, 2024. They demonstrated the exercises and set up a booth to introduce Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) to people and answer questions.
The Falun Dafa exercise demonstration was the first program of the Fall Festival. Practitioners gathered on the green lawn in the center of the event and demonstrated the five exercises, their bright yellow shirts and hats vibrant against the backdrop of the crystal blue sky.

A middle-aged woman walked up to a practitioner and asked, “Excuse me, what is this?” The practitioner replied, “We are demonstrating the Falun Dafa exercises. This is a traditional practice that can achieve physical and mental health.”
Another woman was surprised when she saw practitioners demonstrating the exercises. She asked a practitioner, “It’s not easy for them to stay still for such a long time.” The practitioner replied, “This is Falun Dafa, and not an ordinary exercise. Although they are still on the surface, there is a strong energy flow in their bodies, which strengthens them.”
An elderly couple sat in front and watched the exercise demonstration for a long time. They carefully looked at the Falun Dafa banners. A practitioner handed them a flyer and told them that Falun Dafa is a traditional practice based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.
Some people were drawn by the practitioners’ exercise demonstration. They stopped to read the background information on a Falun Dafa banner and scanned the QR code on the banner to access the FalunDafa.org website.
Many people said they didn’t know much about Falun Dafa, but they could feel the peace and tranquility as practitioners did the exercises.
After the exercise demonstration, a coordinator of the local Rotary Club came to the Falun Dafa booth and said that he was very interested in practicing meditation. He explained that he tried to learn Tai Chi, but because the movements were complicated, he stopped. He heard that Falun Dafa exercises have simple movements, they are also meditative, and doing them can also eliminate fatigue, so he wanted to learn more. He also wanted to introduce it to members of his club. He left his email address and invited practitioners to give a presentation about Falun Dafa during the Rotary Club’s regular meeting, and practitioners happily agreed.
