9. [Shuining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yang Sizhen and Ms. Guo Chunfang Detained

1. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Ms. Chen Yanqiu Faces Trial

The case against Ms. Chen Yanqiu, of Gaoxin District, was submitted to the Gaoxin District Court on November 12, 2024.

2. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Ding Bo Sentenced to 16 Months in Prison

Mr. Ding Bo, of Jingyue District, was arrested in April 2024. He was recently sentenced to 16 months in prison.

3. [Yishui County, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Ligang Sentenced to Three Years in Prison

Mr. Wang Ligang, who lives in Qianxiaohe Street, was arrested in the winter of 2023 by Tian Chengyou and Shen Wenfeng, of the Domestic Security Division, and officers from the Zhongxing Street Police Station. They ransacked his home and took him to the Yishui Detention Center. He was sentenced to three years in prison and has been admitted to the Shandong Province Prison in the capital city of Jinan.

4. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Jinhua Tried

Ms. Zhang Jinhua was tried on November 19, 2024 by the Shulan City Court.

5. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yang Xiuhua Arrested

Ms. Yang Xiuhua, of Sujiayao, Shuangcheng District, was arrested at the Shuangcheng Railway Station on November 10, 2024, while on her way to a relative’s wedding out of town. Her home was ransacked after 10 p.m. on November 11.

6. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Guiling Arrested

Ms. Wang Guiling, in her 70s, lives in Xinian Village, Jianggezhuang Town, Muping District. She was arrested on her way home after 10 a.m. on November 5, 2024, by officers from the Muping District Domestic Security Division and the Jianggezhuang Town Police Station. They ransacked her home, seized a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, copies of Minghui Weekly, and articles written by the founder of Falun Gong. She was released on bail around 2 p.m.

7. [Macheng City, Hubei Province] Mr. Wang Guangbing Admitted to Hospital

Ms. Hu Bibo went into shock and collapsed while standing trial on November 7, 2024. Her husband, Mr. Wang Guangbing, took a photograph of her as evidence of her ordeal, only to be seized by the bailiff and detained for several hours as a result.

Agents from the Macheng Political and Legal Affairs Committee threatened, “You even dared to appeal! You should feel grateful that we didn’t sentence you.” Traumatized by the police, Mr. Wang fell sick and was admitted to Macheng Hospital on November 11, 2024.

8. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhu Yujun Tried

Mr. Zhu Yujun was tried by the Shulan City Court in late October 2024. The judge adjourned the session without announcing a verdict.

9. [Shuining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yang Sizhen and Ms. Guo Chunfang Detained

Ms. Yang Sizhen and Ms. Guo Chunfang are being held in the Yongxing Detention Center.
