(Minghui.org) The 21st China Fahui on Minghui.org was held from November 7 to 19, 2024. A total of 43 articles were published, providing an opportunity for Falun Dafa practitioners around the world to learn and improve. The Chinese practitioners’ righteous thoughts and actions in their difficult environment, the compassion and tolerance they cultivate in Dafa, and their efforts to validate Dafa have deeply moved South Korean practitioners, allowing them to find their own gaps and shortcomings and be more diligent.

Conflict Is Rooted in Human Attachment

Lan-ing was a university lecturer but currently works in the customer service industry. The article “A Teacher’s Journey of Overcoming Resentment and Finding Peace” really touched her.

The author is a diligent and responsible primary school teacher. Because one parent only listened to his child’s side of a story and did not communicate with the teacher, there was a misunderstanding, and that parent and five other parents complained about her. This was the first time a parent had complained about this practitioner in the 18 years she had taught. Although the incident was later resolved, the resentment that followed really interfered with her. The injustice and resentment she felt surfaced occasionally, and she had negative thoughts.

The practitioners in the village held a small experience sharing meeting. An elderly practitioner carefully prepared her speech. During the sharing, other practitioners were moved to tears several times by her pure kindness. From this, the author realized that, whenever she does anything, she really has to do it for the good of others from the bottom of her heart, and not calculate whether she will benefit. It also made her realize that the arrogant human mindset is the source of conflicts. The tribulations she experienced were a result of being unkind to students and parents.

Lan-ing said that most of her conflicts were caused by putting herself above others, thinking that she was right and that she didn’t consider the other party’s perspective. In the workplace or at home, practitioners hold themselves to higher moral standards and principles than ordinary people. But they sometimes think they are better than others, and it’s difficult for them to admit their mistakes. Lan-ing said that the standard of our cultivation is always Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. We should be considerate, do things for others first, and truly be pure and kind, so that we won’t develop resentment.

Nothing We Encounter Is Accidental

Yeongbun has been working the night shift at a convenience store for almost seven years. She comes into contact with an average of 400 people every day, including men, women, young and old, from different professions and nationalities, especially Chinese. After reading the article “Treating Everyone with Kindness,” she was deeply touched. In the article, the author wrote: “We should all focus on cultivating ourselves instead of looking at others with a critical eye. Mei has a short temper, but she is kind-hearted and always likes to help. Let’s not talk about other people’s shortcomings behind their backs. We need to cultivate our speech. You know, Master is here with us all the time, and he knows everything we do and everything in our minds. We should be kind to each other and focus on each others’ strong points.”

Yeongbun said, “But after I read this, I was ashamed. I lack kindness and compassion. Not only do I not cultivate my speech, but I’m also indignant and I have talked about and complained about others behind their backs. The old forces took advantage of this opportunity, causing a gap and affecting the whole body of practitioners. This made me realize that it’s very important for practitioners to cultivate their speech. Cultivation is not about cultivating when I study the Fa or cultivating when I clarify the truth. In my daily life, even a small thing is cultivating.”

Be a Genuine Practitioner and Follow the Fa

Geumseong is in charge of cooking at school, and she was deeply impressed by a passage in the article “Measuring Things Against the Fa Principles and Looking Within.”

The author wrote: “One day our former classmates came over to play Mahjong. My husband played while I cooked in the kitchen. I prepared a whole table of dishes all by myself. When lunch was ready and I asked him to put the bowls and chopsticks on the table, he slapped me in front of everyone. I didn’t say anything, but I did get emotional. Our friends scolded him for his rude behavior.

“I remembered Master’s teachings and calmed down. I didn’t speak nicely to my husband when I asked him for help. My heart was unbalanced, which was not in line with the Fa principles. That’s my fault. He slapped me. It was a warning to me. I should behave strictly according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I should thank him.”

Geumseong said that this sharing was like a blow to the head and that it was still fresh in her mind. Looking at herself, when faced with this kind of situation, it would be difficult to be like the author and not hit back or scold the other person. Instead, we argue and feel resentful. Geumseong said that she saw the gap between herself and the author, and she wasn’t yet able to have that much tolerance. She said that, from now on, she would work hard to learn the Fa well, look inward, and use the Fa to deal with all kinds of conflicts like the author did.

Master Knows Everything

Sae-byul has worked in different professions. After reading the article “My Missed Path Was Paved Anew by Master,” he said: “Master knows everything, and Dafa can do everything. As long as you set your foundation right, do not seek personal fame and gain, and work to better validate Dafa, Master will find a way to give you the green light. Our improvement reflects Master’s painstaking arrangements in every aspect.”

After reading “Our Cultivation Journey While Rescuing Detained Practitioners,” Sae-byul was also deeply impressed. He said, “I really admire those practitioners’ courage and righteous thoughts. Going to the detention center to rescue fellow practitioners and clarify the truth is really not something that ordinary people can do. It requires unshakable faith in Master and our mission and the ability to let go of everything in the world to do it.”
