(Minghui.org) When I went to pick up my laptop computer with a newly installed operating system from another practitioner last December, I tried circumventing the Chinese government’s internet blockade. It was not straightforward, but I was able to visit Minghui.org and several other websites outside of China in a few minutes.
Back home, however, it didn’t work no matter what I tried. Knowing it could be related to the state of my cultivation, I was nonetheless still anxious: What a waste if I was unable to connect to Minghui with this computer! Although I was frustrated, I tried sending forth righteous thoughts anyway, to negate all the vicious elements involved in the interference. But I still couldn’t connect.
Then it came to me that some practitioners had mentioned supernormal abilities. After all, practitioners have all kinds of Fa implements—why not try them out? From the Dafa teachings, we know that enlightened beings do things with their gong (energy) and supernormal abilities. The internet blockade is on the level of everyday society, so it could not compare to my gong.
So I sent strong thoughts to the computer to eliminate all obstacles and open up a channel to connect with Minghui. It actually connected, and I could access Minghui instantly!
My joy was beyond words. After a while, however, the signal disappeared and the webpage paused. Realizing that my zealotry was now interfering, I sent forth righteous thoughts to clear it up while connecting to Minghui with my gong. Since I did not know which one played a major role (sending forth righteous thoughts vs. gong), I used both. I was able to connect again in a short time.
After that, I paid attention to cultivating my xinxing by eliminating any attachment when it surfaced, and I was able to connect to Minghui with no trouble. I also noticed that the signal was very strong, much better than usual. I realized it was my gong at play. I was grateful to Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, for his help. Without that, nothing would happen.
Whenever I have sent forth righteous thoughts since then, I have added a thought that I will be able to connect to Minghui without a problem. I have had steady access to Minghui ever since and the signal has been strong. I’ve even been able to visit Freegate and NTD Television without a hitch. Of course, I avoid wasting time, and get offline right after I download the information I need.
Above are my understandings right now. Please point out anything not in line with Dafa's teachings.
