1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gu Li Faces Trial Again
2. [Fuyang City, Anhui Province] Ms. Li Zongxia and Ms. Li Sulan Face Trial
3. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Song Rongbo Detained
4. [Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Luo Fangli Detained
5. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Li Houpei Dies
6. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Mr. Bai Ruisong Arrested
7. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Liping Detained
8. [Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province] Ma Zhenglian Missing
1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gu Li Faces Trial Again
Ms. Gu Li, a resident of the Jinpu New District, was tried twice, before and after the 2024 New Year. Her third trial is scheduled for April 2, 2024.
2. [Fuyang City, Anhui Province] Ms. Li Zongxia and Ms. Li Sulan Face Trial
The Yingdong District Court will hold trials for Ms. Li Zongxia and Ms. Li Sulan on the morning of March 28, 2024. Ms. Li Zongxia is being held in the Fuyang City Detention Center. Ms. Li Sulan is under house arrest.
3. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Song Rongbo Detained
Song Rongbo, gender unknown, is an employee of the Polymer Injection Technical Service Center, Gudao Oil Extraction Factory, Shengli Oil Field. Song was arrested by 610 Office agents in the early morning hours of March 26, 2024, and is being held in an undisclosed location in Dongying City.
4. [Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Luo Fangli Detained
Ms. Luo Fangli, 69, lives in Liquan County. She was reported when distributing Falun Gong flyers on March 18, 2024, and arrested at home by officers from the Chengguan Police Station. They confiscated her Falun Gong books and other personal belongings. She is being held in the Liquan County Detention Center.
5. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Li Houpei Dies
Mr. Li Houpei, 76, died on January 30, 2024, after being repeatedly harassed and threatened by police for years. He lived alone and was sentenced to 11 years in prison.
6. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Mr. Bai Ruisong Arrested
Mr. Bai Ruisong was arrested at home on the afternoon of March 11, 2024. He was held in the Shengli Street Police Station for more than five hours before being released. Police confiscated his Falun Gong books, a computer, and other belongings.
7. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Liping Detained
Ms. Liu Liping, a resident of Dagang Township, was arrested and taken to Yushu City by officers from the Bahao Police Station on March 23, 2024. She is being held in an undisclosed location.
8. [Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province] Ma Zhenglian Missing
Ma Zhenglian, gender unknown, a resident in the Gaoling District, talked to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in a supermarket on March 14, 2024. Officers from the Gaoling District Police Station ransacked his or her home after someone reported Ma. They seized a copy of Zhuan Falun. Ma’s whereabouts are unknown.
