(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 9 provinces, where at least 26 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Huzhu County, Qinghai Province] Case Against Ms. Xue Shunrong Submitted to the Court
The case against Ms. Xue Shunrong was submitted to the Qinghai Provincial High Court from the Haidong Intermediate Court in April 2024. Ms. Xue refused to plead guilty or sign any documents.
2. [Anlu City, Hubei Province] Ms. Kong Jiuhong Faces Trial
Ms. Kong Jiuhong is scheduled to be tried in the Anlu City Court on the afternoon of April 17, 2024.
3. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Wang Zhaohong and Wen Cairong Arrested
Wang Zhaohong from Xiazhuangzi Village and Wen Cairong from Lizhuangzi Village were arrested by officers from the Tuanpiaozhuang Township Police Station on the morning of April 16, 2024, for talking to people about Falun Gong in Xisi Market.
4. [Bazhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Lijie Arrested
Ms. Li Lijie was arrested by officers from the Dongmen Police Station on April 2, 2024. She is currently detained in the Langfang City Brainwashing Center.
5. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Four practitioners Arrested
Three practitioners from Shijiaying Village of Yangmazhuang Township, Yongqing County, were arrested in the Daxinge Market by officers from the Daxinge Police Station on April 10, 2024. The arrested practitioners are Ms. Zhang Yanyun, Zhang Wenbo, and Ms. Li Shuxiang. Ms. Zhang Yanyun gave a plainclothes officer a flyer about Falun Gong and he called for more officers. The practitioners were taken to the police station but were released later that day. Officers from the Yangmazhuang Township Police Station ransacked the practitioners’ homes and confiscated their Falun Gong books.
Mr. Li Chunfeng from Sanhe City was arrested on April 10, 2024. The details are unknown.
6. [Nong’an County, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Shuli Arrested and Detained
Ms. Zhang Shuli was arrested at home by officers from the Nong’an County Police Department on March 4, 2024. Her home was ransacked and her computer and Falun Gong books were confiscated. Ms. Zhang has been detained for more than 40 days.
7. [Chongqing] Ms. Dai Keqing’s Home Ransacked
Ms. Dai Keqing’s home was ransacked on April 16, 2024. The police confiscated more than 60 Falun Gong books, a new laptop computer, a printer, and other belongings.
8. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Niu Yan Tried in Court
Ms. Niu Yan, 73, has been tried in court.
9. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ms. Wang Haiyan Arrested and Detained
Ms. Wang Haiyan was arrested in Baiyin City on March 8, 2024 and has since been detained. She was placed under official arrest on April 12, 2024 and is currently being held in the Baiyin City Detention Center.
10. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Song Yueshan Harassed
Song Yueshan, over 80, was harassed at home by several officers from the Guojia Police Station on March 11, 2024. Song was pressured to sign some papers and his or her Falun Gong books were confiscated.
11. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Leng Xiaocheng Arrested and Detained
Mr. Leng Xiaocheng was arrested near his home by officers from the Meilihu Police Station and Bengbu City in Anhui Province at 6 p.m. on April 11, 2024. The police ransacked his company premesis. His family was informed on April 16, 2024 that Mr. Leng was under official arrest by the Guzhen County Police Department in Bengbu City, and that he was sent to the Bengbu City Detention Center.
12. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Feng Lianhua and Ms. Li Zhixiu Arrested
Ms. Feng Lianhua from Baishazhou Sub-district of Wuchang District was arrested when she was distributing truth clarifying materials on April 2, 2024.
Ms. Li Zhixiu from Baishazhou Sub-district was arrested by officers from the Baishazhou Police Station on the morning of April 15, 2024. A box of Falun Gong books was confiscated.
13. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Taken to Prison
It was recently learned that Ms. Zhang Yufeng, Ms. Wang Enying, and Ms. Zhang Xiuying were transferred to the Liaoning Province Women’s Prison from the Jinzhou City Women’s Detention Center.
14. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Jinqiu Taken to Prison
Ms. Li Jinqiu was taken to the Liaoning Province Women’s Prison on April 9, 2024. She is currently detained in the No. 12 Ward.
Ms. Li was sentenced to four years in prison by the Linghai City Court in mid-November 2023. The verdict was upheld in the Jinzhou City Intermediate Court after she appealed.
15. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Five Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Li Cuifang was arrested at home in Jinling New Village by officers from the Dongfeng Road Police Station in Jintai District, along with staff members from the local community, on the afternoon of April 11, 2024. The police ransacked her home and confiscated over 50 Falun Gong books, a laptop computer, a printer, over 2000 yuan in currency imprinted with information about Falun Gong, and some truth clarifying materials.
Four practitioners were arrested at Ms. Cai Xiufang’s home by officers from Jintai District and Weibin District, along with local community staff members, on the afternoon of April 11, 2024. The practitioners included Ms. Cai Xiufang, 64, Ms. Liu Linzhi, 65, Ms. Wang Guoyan, 60, and Ms. Xiao, 76. The police ransacked Ms. Cai’s home and confiscated two laptop computers, Falun Gong books, and some paper currency bills.
