(Minghui.org) Before May 13, 2024, elected officials in Pennsylvania sent letters and proclamations to extend their congratulation on the 25th World Falun Dafa Day and the 32nd anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction. They commended Falun Dafa practitioners’ contributions to their communities and the world. They praised and recognized Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, for his outstanding contributions to improve humanity and wished him a happy birthday.

Governor Writes to Celebrate World Falun Dafa Day
Letter from Governor Josh Shapiro
The letter reads, “...Falun Dafa practitioners have contributed to the advancement of our Commonwealth by sharing their unique history, heritage, and time-honored tradition of building more peaceful societies. Falun Dafa, a self-improvement Qigong practice rooted in ancient Chinese culture, consists of physical exercises and an emphasis on strong moral and ethical principles. Celebrating this festive occasion allows us to reflect on he indispensable values of truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance for ourselves and each other. I am grateful to the Greater Philadelphia Falun Dafa Association and the many practitioner of these teachings for their perseverance in reminding us of the benefits of these meditations and trainings.
