(Minghui.org) May 13, 2024 was World Falun Dafa Day and the 32nd anniversary of Falun Dafa’s introduction to the world, as well as the birthday of Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa. The Minghui website published reports, greeting cards, articles, and proclamations from all over the world from mid-April till the end of May.

Several experts and scholars in Taiwan were moved after reading the Minghui website. One famous lawyer said that the Minghui website spreads the truth and helps to uplift people spiritually. An associate professor offered the insight that Falun Dafa practitioners give the word “forbearance” spiritual elevation when they counter the persecution and spread the truth. A seal engraving artist expressed his sincere congratulations on World Falun Dafa Day and said that it was a day of universal celebration.

Well-Known Lawyer: Falun Dafa Uplifts Us Spiritually

Yi-shen Chen, chairperson of the Commercial Law Committee and member of the International Affairs Committee of the Taipei Bar Association, and legal counselor for the Taipei City Government, read Minghui’s Falun Dafa Day publications and said, “Politicians worldwide pay attention to Falun Gong. I am glad that the truth is being spread to the world via the Minghui website and lets more people know about Falun Gong and its principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The Minghui website also exposes the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) brutal persecution of Falun Gong and helps more people know the truth.”

He read some sharing articles written by Falun Dafa practitioners. “These articles help more people know the spiritual principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, change their perspectives and notions from their hearts, and gain a breakthrough in their spiritual pursuits so that they will help people and spread positive energy to other people,” he said.

“I understand the tenets of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance that Master Li taught. If more of us can become selfless and kind, the conflicts in this world will become less and less, and people’s quality of life and spiritual well-being will also improve. That is the most precious thing the Minghui website is doing. It guides our souls to elevate.”

“I wish Master Li a happy birthday. I wish that Falun Gong will spread the truth more smoothly and let more people know and support Falun Gong. I hope the end of the persecution of Falun Gong will come sooner. Freedom of thought is a God-given right. No political party can deprive anyone of this right. I hope that people can learn about Falun Gong and its principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance freely,” he said.

Chairman of Think Tank and Associate Professor: Falun Gong Focuses on Issues Concerning All of Humanity

Tseng Chien-yuan, chairman of the board of directors for the New School for Democracy, adjunct associate professor in the Department of Hakka Language, and Social Sciences vice chairman at the National Quemoy University, read the reports for Falun Dafa Month on the Minghui website. He said, “Falun Gong is not just concerned with individuals and families and their well-being in this life time and the afterlife. Falun Gong focuses on all of humanity, all ethnic groups, and social problems. This is very unique among all the religions.”

He said he admires Falun Gong practitioners’ courage in exposing the CCP’s atrocities and violations of human rights.

“Practitioners clarify the truth and use universal principles to hinder the CCP from persecuting people, [they] fight against the CCP’s ideology, which is against humanity and moral conscience. This is the contribution by Falun Gong to the whole world and humankind.”

He said he admires Falun Gong practitioners for their courage in facing adversity, and yet still adhere to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. He said, “Practitioners bravely face this persecution via their real life experiences and pursue the values of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, which inspires me. They not only cultivate themselves, but also promote the practice and let more people know the truth. I think this is the elevation of the spirit of Forbearance. It is very positive.”

“World Falun Dafa Day is not only a celebration among the Falun Gong practitioners, but also a good opportunity for people to understand Falun Gong. I hope that more people will celebrate this day in the future,” he said.

Artist: I Feel the Atmosphere of Universal Celebration

Wenxuan Guo, a lecturer at Sun Yat-sen University and seal engraving artist, said, “I feel the atmosphere of universal celebration. Master Li of Falun Dafa teaches principles that everyone can understand. People benefit from those principles and spread them to other people. The whole world has felt its impact within a few years. It must have a core universal value that people acknowledge. Democratic societies oppose authoritarianism and value human rights, including freedom of belief.”

Mr. Guo has received various awards for his engraving in Taiwan. To celebrate World Falun Dafa Day, he completed an engraving work entitled “Supreme Compassion” and a poem titled “Falun Dafa.”

Mr. Guo explained that based on his current understanding, “water” can express one aspect of Falun Dafa’s spiritual principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, which is why he created this piece.

Citing words from Lao Zi in the Tao Te Ching, he said, “The utmost kindness is like water; water benefits everything and does not compete,” he said, “Water comes from nature, allowing me to understand truthfulness; water benefits everything and people cannot survive without water, which allows me to understand compassion; water does not compete and goes to lower places, where others look down upon, without seeking returns. Dripping water can penetrate stone. This allows me to understand forbearance.”

He said, “I believe that there is a principle between Heaven and Earth and in the universe. Falun Dafa conveys this principle. If people have righteous thoughts, the world will be in peace now and for generations to come.”
