(Minghui.org) One day last winter a fellow practitioner and I went out to look for people we could clarify the truth to about Falun Dafa. She walked in front of me and I followed behind.
When an elderly man on a bicycle saw us handing out truth-clarification materials to passersby, he got off his bike and seemed very interested. As I was taking out information to give him, I asked him if he wanted to read a book and showed it to him.
He exclaimed, “Yes! I’ve wanted this book. I haven't read it for a long time.” I said, “Someone who is destined will not be missed. Your wish has come true today.” He said, “I want to read the thick book. Please give me one of each. I haven't run into you Dafa practitioners since I moved here six months ago. Where I lived before there was an old lady who often gave me truth-clarification books to read. I am so glad I ran into you today.”
I gave the man two books and a copy of the Minghui Weekly. His eyes lit up when he saw the books and then asked me for more, so I gave him The Ultimate Goal of Communism, the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and others and asked him to pass them on to his relatives and friends after he’d read them.
The man said, “Don’t worry, everyone will read them. I buy groceries every morning, and then I go home and read in the afternoon. I will give the books to my next door neighbor to read, and he will give them to other neighbors upstairs, all the way up to the top.” He pointed upward as he spoke. I said, “Then you will earn immeasurable merit!” He said, “The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) will be eliminated soon. Everyone is against it, and everyone criticizes it.” I asked him if he had quit any of the CCP organizations, and he said that he already had. I gave him another truth-clarification amulet and asked him to recite the nine characters (Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good) often. He was happy to accept everything and kept thanking us. I said, “Thank our master!”
I caught up with the other practitioner and recounted my experience with the man. I mentioned that the man had said, “all the way up to the top.” I was still wondering where the “top” was. Could it be the leader of their unit? As I was telling her about this, I realized that he was referring to the residents in their building, stretching from his place to the top floor. I was so moved. Regular people are also passing on the truth in their own way and fulfilling their vows.
Dealing with Sickness Karma
I’d had a stomachache that day, and, as I was pushing the electric scooter, I felt I had no energy. My stomach continued to hurt from time to time. I sent forth righteous thoughts while the other practitioner talked to people; I did not actively clarify the truth like I usually did.
When I told her about the elderly man, we both laughed we were so happy, and the joy in our hearts was beyond words. At that moment, I broke out in a sweat and felt warm. I said, “My stomach doesn’t hurt anymore. It’s really amazing. I’m so grateful to Master. He eliminated this karma.” She and I were filled with emotion. We encouraged each other to diligently do the three things, clarify the truth more, and distribute truth-clarifying materials so that more people could understand the truth and be saved.
Master Arranges Everything
Master arranges everything in an orderly manner. We just talk and run errands. He is doing everything: protecting us, watching over us, and reducing the karmic debts we accumulated during all of our lifetimes. Whenever we slack off, Master will use other people’s words or actions to encourage us and inspire us to move forward. Without Master, we can't do anything. Thank you, Master.
I would also like to thank my fellow practitioners in the Minghui editorial department and fellow practitioners who produce our truth-clarification materials. We have all kinds of materials, such as periodicals, large magazines, various thick books, USB flash drives, and amulets. Whenever we need any of these things, the practitioner who coordinates these materials will deliver them to us a quickly as possible. It is only because of the efforts of the practitioners behind the scenes that so many sentient beings can see and understand the truth and be saved by Master.
