(Minghui.org) Practitioners held activities in Hoofddorp and Amstelveen on August 17 and 24, 2024, to tell people about Falun Dafa and the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) 25-year-long persecution of the practice.
Hoofddorp is a main town in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer. Practitioners held a Falun Dafa information booth in the business district of Marktlaan. They told people about Falun Dafa and distributed flyers. Many passersby stopped to chat with practitioners to learn more.

“Please help my daughter withdraw from the CCP!”
A Chinese woman and her twin daughters stopped by and said a practitioner in China had told her the truth about the persecution of Falun Dafa and helped her quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
A practitioner reminded her not to believe the CCP’s lies and propaganda and told her about the “Hidden Character Stone” in Guizhou, China, that has “The Chinese Communist Party Will Perish” engraved on it. The woman told her daughters to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. They wrote down their names and said they wanted to quit the Party.
A practitioner gave the woman a copy of Master’s lecture, “How Humankind Came to Be,” and she carefully placed it in her handbag. Then she said, “My oldest daughter is still in China. She needs to quit the CCP, too! Please help her withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations!”
The practitioner explained that a person needs to agree to withdraw. The lady left a voice message for her daughter telling her how important it is to quit the CCP.
“Thank you for telling me the truth about Falun Dafa! I wish you all the best!”
Practitioners demonstrated the exercises and told people about Falun Dafa in Amstelveen on August 24, 2024, and many people stopped to speak with them.
Locals and tourists chatted with practitioners in Amstelveen and learned about Falun Dafa.
Ms. Dorin Laponder lives in Amstelveen. After reading the banners, she signed the petition to end the persecution. She said, “What the CCP does intolerable! I must sign the petition. I’m a member of a number of humanitarian organizations. I have to stop things like forced live organ harvesting. Thank you for telling us about this. I wish you all the best!”
A Chinese lady in a wheelchair came to practitioners’ informational booth twice so that she could hear more about Falun Dafa. She said she admired the practitioners’ kindness and perseverance in telling people about Falun Dafa.
An elderly couple, Mr. P. Brom and Ms. W. Golslijla made their way to the booth and signed the petition. They said they came to the booth after reading a flyer and learning about the persecution. Practitioners thanked them and said, “Your signatures will help stop the CCP from persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners in China.” Mr. Brom said solemnly, “Yes, these signatures are very important, I know!”
Mr. P. Brom and Ms. W. Golslijla signed the petition to help end the persecution of Falun Dafa. Mr. Brom said, “These signatures are very important.”
Five international students from Germany, Singapore, and New Zealand signed the petition.

Mr. Paraipan Zorban from Dunkirk, France, was shocked by the pictures on the poster boards of practitioners being brutally tortured, that medical staff in Chinese prisons and hospitals are involved in the live organ harvesting. He signed the petition and said he would tell his community about this. As a Christian, he would also pray for the persecuted Chinese people.
A Dutch lady came over to the petition booth and said, “Can I take a few more flyers? There are 300 people in my community. I want to put these flyers in a public area and tell them about Falun Dafa and this persecution.”
