(Minghui.org) I went to the bus station to clarify the truth about Falun Gong (also called Falun Dafa) in October 2024. I noticed a gentleman walking back and forth while checking the bus schedules. He seemed lost, so I approached him and asked where he was heading. He told me his destination, and I showed him which bus he needed to take. He smiled and praised me for my friendly demeanor.

I didn’t say too much because there were others nearby, but he then told me that his car had been hit by a delivery man and he was on his way to the repair shop to pick it up. Thinking that he might be a predestined person arranged by Master to meet me, I decided to accompany him.

After we got off the bus, I said to him, “This isn’t my stop, but you seem like a good person, and I’d like to chat with you about something important.”

I began by asking him about the type of car he drove. Was it a state-owned car or a personal one? He replied that it was state-owned. I then said, “No matter what kind of car you’re driving, safety should always come first.” I asked him, “Have you heard about quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations to ensure one’s safety?”

He looked at me curiously, and asked, “What do you believe in?” I told him I believe in Falun Gong. He then stated, “I am a member of the Party.” After a brief pause, he added loudly, “I am also a Party secretary.”

My heart skipped a beat, but I quickly composed myself with righteous thoughts, thinking, “No matter who you are, I am here to save you.” I said, “In that case, you should quit the Party as soon as possible and avoid being a scapegoat for the CCP.” He smiled, patted my shoulders with both hands, and said, “Falun Gong is amazing.”

I asked for his name, which he willingly provided. Thinking he might prefer to use an alias to quit the CCP, since he was a Party secretary, I asked his name again to confirm. He gave me the same name and assured me it was his real name, adding that he was doing a good deed.

He then showed me a video clip on his phone. In the video, he was volunteering and directing people during a flood rescue operation. He also mentioned that he had previously helped Falun Gong practitioners by delivering items to their homes.

I said to him, “Falun Gong practitioners are all good people,” and told him about a software link that allows circumventing the Internet blockade. He smiled and said he already had access and could see everything online.

I reminded him to avoid participating in anything that undermines Dafa or persecutes Dafa practitioners. I explained, “The authorities have launched a 30-year retrospective anti-corruption campaign, turning their focus inward [on Party members]. Many of those being arrested are officials who persecuted Falun Gong in the past and continue to do so. That is life-threatening.”

At that moment, his phone rang, and he was being called to pick up his car.

As we parted, I said to him, “Remember, ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ I hope you’ll stay safe every day.” He smiled and said, “Thank you!” I added, “You can thank our Master.”

I felt immense joy knowing that I had helped save a life!
