(Minghui.org) One of my neighbors is my friend and practices Falun Dafa. I stepped out of my house one day in December 2004 and saw a crowd of people gathered in front of my neighbor’s home. Police were going in and out. My friend wasn’t home at the time. I went over to see what was happening and found out that the police were there to arrest him, because he practices Falun Dafa.
Although I wasn’t practicing Falun Dafa at that time, I knew that my neighbor is a good person and that Falun Dafa is good. I also knew how terrifying the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s persecution of Dafa practitioners is. I quietly left and went home and thought about how to help my neighbor.
At noon it was time for the school's lunch break. I asked my son and daughter, who had come home for lunch, to wait at the village entrance. I told them to warn our neighbor not to return home if they saw him coming, as the police were there. After a quick meal, they left. I tidied up quickly and hurried to the village entrance, sent the kids back to school, and stayed there to keep watch.
I suddenly saw a huge Falun appear in the sky. The large swastika symbol in the center was enormous, and spinning, and the Taiji symbols were also spinning. The whole Falun was turning, both clockwise and counterclockwise. I was amazed and couldn’t snap out of it. I stayed there from early afternoon until it got dark, and the Falun kept spinning, watching over me.
When it got dark, I had to go home to take care of my family. I quickly asked the Master of Falun Dafa to protect my neighbor and make sure he didn’t come home during that time. I then went home. My neighbor didn’t come back that day, and the police didn’t catch him.
More than 20 years have passed, but the scene from that day is still vivid in my mind.
I started practicing Falun Dafa in 2017. Now, like other practitioners, I clarify the truth and distribute information materials to offer salvation. Whenever I face difficulties, I think back to that day.
A fellow practitioner said, “Master saw your kindness, protected you, and encouraged you. Even though you weren’t practicing yet, you did a great deed by trying to alert a Dafa practitioner to avoid a dangerous situation. It laid a solid foundation for your future cultivation and showed you something so miraculous and sacred.”
At the time, I didn’t think that I had done anything special. But with my fellow practitioner’s insight, I realized that whether I started practicing early or later, Master has been looking after me all along. Thank you, Master!
