To celebrate the 2025 New Year, Falun Dafa practitioners in Italy wished Master Li Hongzhi a happy New Year. Spanning different ethnicities and ages, practitioners expressed gratitude to Master Li for introducing Falun Dafa to the world, enlightening them to the true meaning of life, and changing their lives for the better.

A Life Changing Event That Saved Me

“Dafa completely changed my life, and words cannot express the extent of my gratitude to Master Li.” On the cusp of 2025, Italian practitioner Leo Botnarenco recalled how he obtained the Fa and his various cultivation experiences.

A grateful Leo Botnarenco thanks Master Li for introducing Falun Dafa to the world and wishes him a happy new year!

A resident of northern Italy, Leo obtained the Fa by chance in 2007. A friend of his mentioned he was learning a very good practice called Falun Dafa, and hoped Leo would join him in learning the practice.

Not long after, Leo was walking along the streets when he heard a pleasant melody, which made him feel peaceful. Intrigued, he walked over and found some people practicing Falun Dafa. After chatting with them, he decided to start practicing. In hindsight, these seemingly accidental chain of events appeared to be pre-arranged.

Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance opened a new chapter in Leo’s life. Before he began practicing Leo had doubts and questioned the meaning of life. Falun Dafa gave Leo the answers he was looking for.

“Falun Dafa means a lot to me. It awakened my soul and helped me give up drinking and smoking. Dafa rescued me and cleansed the mud from my life. I began to pay attention to other people’s feelings, readily offered help and learned to be kind to others. Now my entire being is moving in the correct direction.

“In today’s materialistic world, people chase after fame and fortune. Greed can make a person feel empty, physically and mentally exhausted. Fortunately, I practice Falun Dafa and my character has gradually improved over time. Now I remain indifferent to fame and gain, though I work towards a firm goal and direction in life. In addition to my career, I try to contribute to Dafa media projects. I find each day very fulfilling.

“Despite the various tests and obstacles, I remain peaceful and happy within! All of this is possible due to the mighty virtue of Dafa and Master Li. Words cannot describe my gratitude, and I sincerely wish Master Li Hongzhi a happy new year!”

Escaping a Serious Car Accident Alive With Master’s Protection

Renzi Suelen thanks Master for protecting her and wishes Master a happy new year!

Renzi Suelen, who began practicing Falun Dafa in 2008, lives near Florence where the Italian Renaissance began. Before she began practicing, Renzi tried to find the meaning of life. Her search continued until she obtained the Fa and started practicing. Over time, Renzi finally realized that she found what she was looking for.

A Tuscan girl, Renzi is beautiful enough to have walked out of a painting by the great painter Botticelli. Despite her delicate appearance, Renzi is highly capable, juggling multiple roles of wife, mother, and boss of a clothing company.

Ever since she began practicing Renzi has diligently studied the Fa, practiced the exercises, and clarified the truth about the persecution each day without fail. In spite of her busy and tiring schedule, Renzi feels such effort is normal in cultivation practice, since Dafa has shown her the meaning of life.

Three years ago, Renzi was involved in a serious car accident. “Improbably, I walked away from an accident which should have taken my life. Today, I stand here because of Master’s protection and life-saving grace. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Master for his compassionate salvation! I wish Master a happy New Year!”
