(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 4 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 6 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wu Xinglan Arrested for Distributing Falun Gong Informational Calendars
2. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Zhang Yuhui Detained
3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Guiqing Detained
4. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Lu Ping’s Home Ransacked
5. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Guo Xiuhua Arrested
6. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yuan Ting and Her Husband Harassed
1. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wu Xinglan Arrested for Distributing Falun Gong Informational Calendars
Ms. Wu Xinglan was arrested and taken to a police station on December 12, 2024. She was recorded by a surveillance camera when she was distributing calendars with information about Falun Gong. One calendar she carried with her during her arrest was confiscated. She was released that night.
2. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Zhang Yuhui Detained
Zhang Yuhui, gender unknown, was arrested by Xinchun Police Station officers after 7 p.m. on December 19, 2024. They confiscated a set of Falun Gong books, a cell phone, a computer, and a printer. Zhang was detained for 15 days.
3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Guiqing Detained
Ms. Wang Guiqing was arrested by officers from the Xiguangchang Police Station when she was talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in Heishui Road on December 13, 2024. She was held at the Weizigou Detention Center for 15 days.
4. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Lu Ping’s Home Ransacked
Ms. Lu Ping, of Bin County, had her home ransacked in mid-December 2024. The police seized a picture of the founder of Falun Gong and several Falun Gong books. Her husband, a non-practitioner, was taken to the police station and forced to fingerprint some documents before he was released.
5. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Guo Xiuhua Arrested
Ms. Guo Xiuhua lives in Zhangjia Village, Hou Town. She was arrested in the Xifanglu Street Market for distributing Falun Gong desktop calendars on December 1, 2024. She was released that night, but the police harassed her at home three days later. She has been forced to live away from home to avoid further harassment.
6. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yuan Ting and Her Husband Harassed
Ms. Yuan Ting was harassed at home by two officers from the Xianfeng Road Police Station on November 1, 2024. One of them was community officer Liu Yungui. They recorded her and her husband’s personal information and video recorded them.
Liu came back with another officer on December 15, 2024 and ordered her to sign a document.
