(Minghui.org) I read the recent article on Minghui.org, “Special Report: Our Master.” In the face of the slanderous and distorted reporting by a media outlet in the United States, Master Li Hongzhi has always remained calm and smiling. He has displayed the great love of the Creator, who cares for all living beings, and this immediately filled my heart with respect and admiration.

Master’s brief answers expressed infinite meaning. Through the stories told by students around him, we witness Master’s perseverance, simplicity, frugality, modesty, and extraordinary willpower.

Master Li sets a good example and leads by example. He volunteers to work with the students at the center for Falun Dafa, Dragon Springs, makes snacks for the students at Fei Tian Academy of the Arts, and hands them out to each student. All of these deeply moved me and led me to respect Master that much more.

However, Master never told his disciples about the toil and hardship he has shouldered. If it weren’t for the interview, the world would never have known.

Master never mentions his achievements to his disciples even though He has made Shen Yun Performing Arts Company a great success, allowed the students of the Fei Tian Academy of the Arts to receive the best care, and helped Falun Dafa disciples around the world walk the righteous path of cultivation. 

In today’s world, where all art forms are in a recession, Shen Yun Performing Arts has created its world-class brand and box office revenue without relying on government or corporate funding. After 18 years, from one troupe at the beginning to eight troupes now, Shen Yun has performed nearly 10,000 shows worldwide. Not only was it able to keep up with the various expenses of more than 1,000 members, but also created 266 million dollars in assets.

Master Li clearly stated that since he was leading everyone in cultivation, he must set an example himself. Not wanting the issue of money to undermine the practitioners and cause trouble in Dafa projects, he did not take payments from Shen Yun.

Master has devoted much effort to the projects created by Falun Dafa disciples, such as Shen Yun and the construction of Dragon Springs. He even participated in heavy physical labor.

Master has been teaching the Fa in the world for 32 years and helped countless people to gain health and become virtuous, but he has constantly been vilified by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). However, Master has always told his disciples not to regard ordinary people as enemies and to save people who are deceived by the CCP’s lies.

Master Li has shown us how a Dafa practitioner should carry himself based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. We are the luckiest beings in the universe because we can purify our minds and bodies with Dafa's teachings. We must progress diligently and unconditionally by following Master’s requirements to validate the Fa.
