(Minghui.org) I started practicing Falun Dafa in December 1998, and seven months later, the persecution began. Like millions of other practitioners, I’ve since been clarifying the truth about Dafa to the general public. I would like to share some of my experiences on my cultivation journey.
When I first started clarifying the truth, I passed by a small shop, where several young ladies were selling shirts. As soon as I entered the shop, they surrounded me and offered me clothes to try on. I chose a kimono.
When I came out of the fitting room with the kimono on, they exclaimed that it was beautiful, and advised me to buy it. I looked at myself in the mirror and felt that the dress was indeed suitable for me, so I bought it. No other customers were in the shop at the time. Taking advantage of the harmonious atmosphere, I clarified the truth to them, and they all agreed to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliates.
As I was about to leave, they wanted for me to stay longer and asked me to be a temporary model for them. I considered the idea. “All right. But I will explain the truth about Dafa to the customers.” They agreed.
So, dressed in a kimono, I stood at the door and became a temporary model for them. There was a constant stream of people coming and going. The sales ladies were very busy. Meanwhile, I kept talking to the customers and telling them the facts about Dafa. I knew that Master had arranged this opportunity to encourage me and train me. It laid a good foundation for my clarifying the truth in the future.
The hospital is one of the places where I often clarified the truth to people. I once saw a young man squatting on the ground, holding his stomach and grimacing in pain. I squatted down next to him, “What happened? Are you in pain? Reciting, ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ will help to reduce your pain. It has miraculous healing effects. It is the Fa of the universe.”
When I mentioned withdrawing from the CCP, he got angry and said, “Do you know who I am? I’m a police officer. My job is to catch Falun Dafa practitioners.” I couldn’t help but pat him on the shoulder, and replied, “Oh, that’s great!” He was stunned. “You are predestined to encounter Dafa!” I said. “You’re not an ordinary person. Heaven treasures you and arranged for us to meet so I can tell you the truth and save you. Regardless of what you’ve done, repent in your heart, and use your work as an opportunity to make up for your past mistakes. Protecting Falun Dafa practitioners will bring immeasurable merit. It will bring you a good future and even accumulate merit and bring blessings for the next generation.”
His anger gradually subsided. He then exclaimed, “The pain disappeared!” His eyes were full of gratitude, and he repeated, “I don’t feel pain anymore!”
I then advised him to withdraw from the CCP, and he readily agreed.
At a university campus, I saw a woman sitting on a bench. She was neatly dressed and looked educated. I walked over and sat next to her. I then took the initiative to greet her. She smiled back, and we started chatting.
We hit it off and had a friendly conversation. She told me that she was a retired university professor from another city. She was here to look after her grandchildren. I quickly got to the point and started to talk about Falun Dafa. I covered everything in a comprehensive and detailed way. I told her that Dafa not only benefits people’s health, but is also good for society, and is here to save mankind. There are people practicing Dafa in over 100 countries. The whole world knows Dafa is good. Only in China is it persecuted by the CCP.
When I talked about how brutal the persecution is and about the CCP harvesting organs from living practitioners, she angrily said, “It’s so sad and shameless that such a great country can be so despicable and commit such a genocidal act. It’s such a shame! I want to withdraw from the CCP, so does my family.” She then said sincerely, “I’m so glad I came here. I truly feel lucky to have met you!”
We talked a lot, as if we were long-lost relatives, not wanting to part. Reluctantly, we walked a few steps away, but then both turned around and embraced each other. She shed tears of joy. I also asked her to tell her family and friends that Falun Dafa is good.
A fellow practitioner and I were heading to a park, and along the way we were talking to people about Dafa. As we passed a food market, I greeted a woman who gave me the cold shoulder and made it clear she wasn’t interested. The other practitioner told me, “I just talked to her, and she rejected me, fiercely.”
When we arrived at the park, I saw a woman standing next to the river. I walked over to her and greeted her, “You’ve got quite an artistic flair! Are you enjoying the scenery?”
She turned around and said with an angry expression, “What are you doing here again? Why are you following me?”
It was the woman I tried to talk to at the food market! Just when I was about to walk away, a thought flashed through my mind... I can’t leave. She’s someone I’m predestined to meet, and I must save her. With this thought, her attitude instantly changed, and her tone softened, “If you have something to say, just say it.”
“I like people who are straightforward and sensible. It’s not that I’m pestering you, it’s just that your life is extraordinary. You were chosen by fate, and I’m here to deliver a message to you. Falun Dafa is the highest law of the universe. In this final calamity period, Dafa is here to save people. The CCP made up lies to mislead, poison, and eventually destroy people. It’s evil, and it does not want people to obtain the Fa. We do not want to be a part of it. We do not want to be its scapegoat. I sincerely hope you withdraw from the CCP, survive the final disaster, and have a bright future.”
She was touched, and said, “Please help me to quit the CCP. I really appreciate it!”
“If fate allows, we will meet again,” I replied.
“Really?” She excitedly stretched out her hand and gave me a high-five.
I often clarified the truth to people at a local farmers’ market, where there were many people of different social classes and types, coming and going.
One day, there a man was buying vegetables from a stall, but he realized that he was one yuan short. The stall owner refused to sell the vegetables to him for one yuan less, and the man was embarrassed. I took out one yuan, gave it to the stall owner, picked up the vegetables, and handed them to the man. He was very grateful. I said, “You’re welcome, you’re not the kind of person who bargains, and I just happened to be here. I guess fate led me to meet you.” I then took the opportunity to tell him the facts about Falun Dafa, and he agreed to withdraw from the CCP.
I also talked to the stall owner who exclaimed, “No wonder you’re so generous. You practice Falun Dafa!”
“Yes, I do. Both you and the buyer are satisfied at the same time. Isn’t it like killing two birds with one stone?”
“You’re such a nice person!” she said.
“All Dafa practitioners are good people.” I then told her that good deeds will be rewarded and evil deeds will be punished. For persecuting good people, the CCP won’t meet with a good ending. I then advised her to quit the CCP. “Get insurance for you and your family.”
She turned to her husband and said, “Let this big sister (referring to me) help us. You can quit your CCP membership, and I’ll quit the Youth League I joined.”
I made good aliases for both of them, and they were happy.
When I walked past a stall at the market, the stall owner was picking out damaged persimmons, saying angrily that she was not making much money to begin with, and to make matters worse, so many persimmons were damaged. I stopped and asked, “Are all these persimmons damaged? I will buy them, and I’ll pay your normal price.”
She was hesitant and said she probably should not do that. I ensured her it would be ok with me. “It will reduce your losses. It’s not easy for you to make a living doing such hard work.”
She was touched and asked what I do. “I practice Falun Dafa. My Master taught us to be good people and always consider others first.”
“Society would not be so dark if everyone practiced Falun Dafa,” said the stall owner.
“Don’t lose hope. Dafa’s Master is here to save humankind. When everyone follows Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, the moral standard in society will improve. By withdrawing from the evil CCP, people will be saved and have a bright future.” She agreed to quit the CCP.
Dafa practitioners use various ways to save people. I sometimes bought things that I didn’t need, but found it worthwhile if it helped to save someone.
I understand that our truth clarification efforts depend on our hearts. Master will help us when we are not thinking about ourselves, and we truly want to save people. Everything is arranged by Master. When and where we meet someone who is pre-destined, as well as the environment and our wisdom, are all given by Master. He has always been protecting and helping me, ensuring that I walk on a correct path.
Of course, I’ve also had many regrets and shortcomings. But I will strive to do the three things well, complete my cultivation, and follow Master to return to my true home.
