(Minghui.org) The Karnataka Department of Horticulture hosted an 11-day flower show at Cubbon Park in Bangalore on November 27 through December 7, 2025. It was modeled after the famous annual Lalbagh Flower Show. Falun Dafa practitioners from the area were invited as part of the community, to share their meditative practice with the attendees.
This vibrant show uniquely blended themes of Children’s Day and Karnataka Rajyotsava—a holiday that celebrates the unification of Kannada-speaking regions in India. The presentation was clearly reflected in the floral designs and the cultural programs featured throughout the show. Visitors enjoyed a spectacular display that included 50 varieties of plants and 50 flowering species, over over 100 booths offered a variety of nurseries, gardening accessories, handmade crafts, and food, creating a lively and festive atmosphere in the heart of the city.

Exercise demonstration drew the attention of attendees.
This was the first time that Cubbon Park hosted a ticketed flower show for the public, drawing large crowds eager to experience the colorful spectacle. Over 33,500 visitors attended the first day of the festival, with the organizers expecting over 200,000 attendees in total.
Many of these spectators were drawn to the Falun Dafa practitioners’ booth, which was decorated in bright colors to match the surroundings. Practitioners traveled from outstation locations to take part in the event, and share with visitors insights into the peaceful cultivation practice.
At their booth, the practitioners demonstrated the exercises to a growing number of curious onlookers. Many visitors eagerly joined in to learn the practice, spurred by the welcoming and informative atmosphere created by the volunteers. One visitor, named Imran, expressed his admiration, saying, “You people are doing a wonderful job using your time.” He was particularly impressed by the selfless way the practitioners explained both the benefits of the cultivation practice and the persecution faced by Falun Dafa practitioners in China.
Imran was impressed by the selfless service of the practitioners.
Sangeet, another visitor, shared how happy she was to be given a bookmark by the practitioners. She said, “If all the people, myself included and my daughter follow this practice, everyone would be so happy.”

Meanwhile, Santhosh, who also stopped at the booth, acknowledged the significance of their work, saying, “You people are doing a great service.” He also expressed admiration for the high moral standards that practitioners hold themselves to.
Vipin, one of the booth visitors, asked the practitioners to visit his workplace and teach Falun Dafa to his colleagues.
Visitors signed a petition calling to stop the CCP’s state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting.
Practitioners also used the booth to raise awareness about the persecution faced by Falun Dafa practitioners in China, as well as the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting. They encouraged visitors to sign a petition to help stop this atrocity.
