(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 4 cities or counties in 3 provinces, where at least 34 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Chongqing] Ms. Bai Shuzhen and Ms. Zeng Arrested
2. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Geng Caixia Arrested and Detained
3. [Xiaogan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yan Zhenxiang Released
4. [Dunhua City, Jilin Province] Over 30 Practitioners Arrested in One Day, Five Remain Detained

1. [Chongqing] Ms. Bai Shuzhen and Ms. Zeng Arrested

Ms. Bai Shuzhen from Jiulongpo District and Ms. Zeng, first name unknown, from Ba’nan District, were arrested on January 21, 2025, after being reported for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. They are currently detained in the Ba’nan District Detention Center.

2. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Geng Caixia Arrested

Ms. Geng Caixia was arrested at home by officers from the Nanfan Police Station in Guye District on the morning of January 15, 2025, and her home was ransacked. She was released on bail from the Tangshan City First Detention Center on the afternoon of January 23, 2025.

3. [Xiaogan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yan Zhenxiang Released

Ms. Yan Zenxiang was arrested at home on January 20, 2025. She was held in the Xiaogan City Lockup and was released on January 27, 2025.

4. [Dunhua City, Jilin Province] Over 30 Practitioners Arrested in One Day, Five Remain Detained

Over 30 practitioners in Dashitou Town were arrested on the afternoon of September 7, 2024. While over 20 practitioners were soon released, eight remain in custody.

Among the eight practitioners, Ms. Guo Liping, Ms. Wang Lidong, and Ms. Xu Yanxia were released from the Yanji Detention Center on the evening of January 18, 2025. The other four female practitioners, including Ms. Wang Huichun, Ms. Tian Ping, Ms. Liu Jingping, and another one whose name isn’t known, remain detained in the Yanji Detention Center. The male practitioner, whose name also isn’t known, is detained in the Dunhua City Detention Center.
