Hawaii: Falun Dafa Welcomed in New Year Parade in Chinatown

(Minghui.org) People flocked to Chinatown in early February 2025 to celebrate Chinese New Year. Crowds lined the main street as the annual Chinese New Year parade began. Local Falun Dafa practitioners participated in the parade as they had in previous years, sharing the universal values of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.

Practitioners carried banners with messages such as, “Falun Dafa in Hawaii,” “Falun Dafa is good,” and “The world needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.” Some people pressed their hands together in a gesture of respect, others gave them a thumbs-up when they saw the message: “The world needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance,” and some Chinese shouted, “Falun Dafa is good!”

A practitioner from China, who participated in the event with her son, said, “In the past, I could only see practitioners in parades by bypassing China’s Internet firewall. But now, I can hold a banner that says ‘Falun Dafa is good’ and walk in the parade. I’m very happy that I’m immersed in Falun Dafa’s blessings. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance brings hope and light to people. I feel very honored to be here and let the world see and know about Falun Dafa!”
