Additional Persecution News from China – February 20, 2025 (4 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 4 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 7 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Chen Feijin Sentenced
2. [Zhangye City, Gansu Province] Ms. Liu Yuzhen Arrested
3. [Meihekou City, Jilin Province] Ms. Fu Fengying and Others Harassed
4. [Yibin City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Shuzhen’s Home Raided

1. [Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Chen Feijin Sentenced

Mr. Chen Feijin, around 70 years old, was arrested in Taiping Town, Mazhang District in February 2023, and his home was ransacked. His computers, printers, Falun Gong books, and printouts were confiscated. He was held in the Mazhang Detention Center for nearly a year. It was recently confirmed by Minghui.org that Mr. Chen was sentenced to three years in prison in February 2024, and he is now serving time in the Sihui Prison of Guangdong Province.

2. [Zhangye City, Gansu Province] Ms. Liu Yuzhen Arrested

Ms. Liu Yuzhen was arrested in late 2024, after someone reported her for posting Falun Gong flyers. She was released on bail after being denied admission to the detention center due to high blood pressure.

3. [Meihekou City, Jilin Province] Ms. Fu Fengying and Others Harassed

Shancheng Town Police Station officers, along with Dongxiaobao Village security director Song Zhiwen, went to Ms. Fu Fengying’s home and tried to arrest her in August 2024, but she was not at home. They then went to her daughter’s and sister’s homes looking for her. Still unable to find her, they ransacked both places.

The officers also attempted to arrest Ms. Dong Guolan on the same day. She escaped, but they arrested her husband who does not practice Falun Gong. He was held for a day in the Meihekou Police Station. The officers had their son sign some documents before they released him.

In October 2024, the police harassed Ms. Fu Fengying and Ms. He Shouling at home and took photos of them.

4. [Yibin City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Shuzhen’s Home Raided

More than ten officers from Xuzhou District raided Ms. Li Shuzhen’s home on December 23, 2024, and confiscated her Falun Gong books, computers, printers, media players, cell phones, and other belongings.
