(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 10 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Li Wen Sentenced to Four Years in Prison
2. [Huixian City, Henan Province] Ms. Chen Zhaoxia Tried
3. [Shenze County, Hebei Province] Mr. He Xiding, His Wife, and Son Arrested
4. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Na Zibo Detained
5. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Lihua Facing Incarceration
6. [Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province] Practitioners Harassed, Arrested, and Detained
1. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Li Wen Sentenced to Four Years in Prison
Mr. Li Wen was arrested on September 19, 2024, and his home was ransacked. He was later sentenced to four years in prison and admitted to the Jilin City Prison on February 25, 2025.
2. [Huixian City, Henan Province] Ms. Chen Zhaoxia Tried
Ms. Chen Zhaoxia of Zhancheng Town was arrested by Hui County Police Department officers in early November 2024. She was tried recently by the local court.
3. [Shenze County, Hebei Province] Mr. He Xiding, His Wife, and Son Arrested
Mr. He Xiding, his wife, and their son, Mr. He Shuai, were arrested at home on the evening of March 9, 2025.
4. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Na Zibo Detained
Mr. Na Zibo of Wuchang City was arrested on the morning of February 27, 2025. His home was ransacked. He is being held in the Wuchang City Detention Center.
5. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Lihua Facing Incarceration
Ms. Wang Lihua, 72, was sentenced to a one-year prison term by the Changyi District Court in 2024. Officers from the Zhanqian Police Station notified her daughter on March 3, 2025 to take her to the Four-Six-Five Hospital in Jilin City for a physical exam on March 4. As she was found to have high blood pressure and an 18 cm (7-inch) wide tumor on her liver, she was denied admission to the Jilin City Detention Center, and released. Yet the police notified her on March 7, 2025 that they had scheduled to take her to the Jilin Province Women’s Prison on April 14, 2025.
6. [Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Harassed, Arrested, and Detained
Mr. Wan Jianxin was arrested by officers from the Guangyuan City Economic Development Zone Police Department in mid-May 2024.
Ms. Yin Zhijun, 57, was arrested by the same officers on June 16, 2024, and her home was ransacked. She was put into the Guangyuan City Detention Center the next day, and released on bail months later.
The home of Ms. Ran Shufen, 81, was ransacked by two officers on August 5, 2024. Her Falun Gong books and media players were confiscated. The police took her to the police department for questioning before releasing her on bail.
