(Minghui.org) Canadian practitioners in Nova Scotia have participated in numerous events such as parades and festivals where they introduced Falun Dafa and told people about the persecution in China.

Located on the east coast of Canada, Nova Scotia is one of the three Maritime provinces and the second-most densely populated provinces in the country. It’s also known as one of the most enjoyable places to live in Canada.

Warm Applause in Parades

Some practitioners traveled for hours to participate in an Acadian parade in Clare on August 15, 2024. Their car was decorated with a Falun Dafa banner and lotus flowers, and practitioners played the music, Pudu, during the two-hour event.

Hundreds of people applauded and waved when they saw the cars driving by. Some residents said they never saw so many attendees during this event in the past. “This car [referring to Falun Dafa practitioners] looks so vibrant,” a spectator said.

Practitioners who participated in the parade were grateful for this opportunity since they could share this beautiful practice with the communities.

Learning the Practice at Festivals

Local residents were interested in learning the Falun Dafa exercises.

Practitioners also participated in a multicultural Festival in Kentville on August 24, 2024. Many people stopped at the booth and asked for more information and some learned the exercises.

Some passersby said they could feel harmony and energy while listening to the exercise music. “It’s amazing that these practitioners can be so calm and meditate during this noisy festival,” one person said. “This must be a real cultivation practice,” another person said.

During the Fusion Festival in New Glasgow on September 22, 2024, many people stopped at the booth and received flyers and lotus flowers. They were interested in the exercise demonstration and asked where they could learn how to practice. They were happy to receive contact information and websites so they could follow up.
