(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners were invited to take part in the 111th UC Davis Picnic Day Parade on April 12, 2025. Many spectators cheered when they saw their entry, and some said that everyone should follow the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance that the practice teaches.

In blue and white traditional Chinese costumes, the Tian Guo Marching Band made up of Falun Dafa practitioners played several songs as the parade began at 10:30 a.m.
As the band members marched past the main stage on North Quad Avenue, the MC introduced them: “The group approaching now is the Falun Dafa Tian Guo marching band. In English, that means the band is from heaven. Falun Dafa is a cultivation practice based on Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance and includes five exercises.”
Everyone Should Follow Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance
Soia and his friend Kira were excited to see practitioners in the parade, and they cheered loudly. Soia said, “This group is amazing.”

When he learned that the practice of Falun Dafa is based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, he took the flier and said, “Let me hold this flier close to my heart. I’ve been searching for such principles. Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance can guide people’s daily life. Everyone should follow them.”
Kira said, “This is group is remarkable. We love it. Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance is beautiful.”
Society Needs Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance
Ermaris, a medical biology lecturer at UC Davis said, “This band is great. I was just given a flier about Falun Dafa, and I think Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is beautiful. We need Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and this society needs Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.”
Ermaris praised Falun Dafa’s principles.
Drew Duncan and his wife, who are local residents, clapped as the Tian Guo Marching Band passed by. Drew said, ‘The band’s performance is amazing, very synchronized. I love the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. You can see that in the way the band performs.”
Drew Duncan complimented the Tian Guo marching band on how synchronized they were.
Natalie and her friend Veronika were delighted to see practitioners in the parade. Natalie said proudly, “I’m Chinese, and I support you 100 per cent. I’m Cantonese from Southeast Asia. I love Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.”

Veronika said, “I support you. Falun Dafa is great.”
Lisa, a local resident, used to play an instrument in a band. She was full of praise for the Tian Guo Marching Band and said, “This band is unique, very disciplined. I think they are very cool, synchronized, their costumes are beautiful, too.”
Lisa said she opposes the CCP’s persecution.
“I love Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. Who wouldn’t?” When she learned that the CCP is persecuting practitioners who follow Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, she said, “It must be the head of the CCP. We oppose the regime’s persecution.”
Bill, who’s lived in Davis for 25 years, said he sees practitioners in the parade every year. “This group is outstanding. It makes people happy to hear their music. I am full of praise for them. I hope they take part in a band competition.”
Bill said the Tian Guo Marching Band’s performance makes people happy.
He said he’s visited China more than 12 times, “But I discovered there is no democracy in China.”
