(Minghui.org) The Shen Yun Global Company presented thirteen performances in the cities of Taichung, Tainan, Chiayi, and Kaohsiung, Taiwan between April 2–16, 2025.

At Shen Yun’s first performance in Kaohsiung on April 14, the company received floral arrangements from elected officials including: Mayor of Kaohsiung Chen Chi-mai; Members of the Legislative Yuan, Lin Tai-hua, Hsu Chih-chieh, and Chiu Chih-wei; Speaker of the Kaohsiung City Council Kang Yu-cheng; and Kaohsiung City Councilors Chen Li-na and Liu Te-lin.

At the performance in Kaohsiung on the afternoon of April 15, Shen Yun received flowers from Chairman of the Central News Agency Lee Yung-te and Members of the Legislative Yuan Chiu Yi-ying and Lai Jui-lung.

On the afternoon of April 15, eight Shen Yun artists (first row) and over 50 VIP attendees from Taiwan’s political and business fields took part in a Meet-And-Greet event in Kaohsiung.

“Cleanses Your Heart”

Lai Jui-lung, a member of the Legislative Yuan, saw Shen Yun in Kaohsiung on April 15.

“In addition to the first-class international dancers and first-class musicians, there were also wonderful performances with the backdrop, feeling like you were traveling between Earth and Heaven at any time,” he said.

“The performance makes everyone more confident about the world as a whole. At the same time, it can cleanse your heart when you are busy with work, making you more energetic and full of spirit, just like being recharged, so that you can continue to face more challenges,” Mr. Lai said.

Chiu Yi-ying, another member of the Legislative Yuan, also saw Shen Yun in Kaohsiung on April 15.

“Every part was great! ... Truly touching!” Ms. Chiu said.

“I think the spirit of Falun Gong practitioners is something we admire very much... We all know that Falun Gong members are most aware of how the CCP [Chinese Communist Party] treats its people brutally. Conveying Falun Gong’s spirit [which is against persecution and communism] through culture and art, I think this is a very, very special performance... This is the greatest thing about Falun Gong,” she said.

“I See the Authenticity”

Pingtung County Councilor Hung Ming-jiang saw Shen Yun in Kaohsiung on April 14. This was his fifth time seeing Shen Yun.

“Excellent!... The show is different each time, and the feeling of being touched is different every time. I see the authenticity of Shen Yun, especially in every dancer, who performs with their heart, allowing the audience to be moved,” he said.

“Very Healing”

YouTuber Potter King, who has 1.03 million fans, saw Shen Yun in Kaohsiung on April 15.

“I feel that the music and the performance of all the dancers make the entire visual presentation very healing,” Potter King said.

“I think the CCP has really erased a lot of cultural aspects, but Shen Yun Performing Arts has preserved them well. So if you want to understand that China and the CCP are actually different, then come and watch this play, this performance. I think you can clearly understand that they are different,” he said.

“Goes Deep into People’s Hearts”

Yu Chih-jung, the general manager of the Yilung Agricultural Company, saw Shen Yun in Kaohsiung on April 14.

“Coming here feels like the divine beings and Buddhas are right beside you,” he said.

“The main reason I brought my children to see it this time was to let them experience the sublimation of their inner selves... It will help you find your original intentions and inner ethics. It also has a teaching method that goes deep into people’s hearts, which is rarely taught in today’s society.”

“Fully Surrounded by Energy”

Chou Hsun-min, a former national handball player and currently a strength and conditioning coach, saw Shen Yun in Tainan on April 12.

“During the last performance, especially when the big golden Falun was spinning and the entire screen was also golden, I felt that the energy projected by the Creator was very powerful. Although I was sitting in my seat, my body was already vibrating and was fully surrounded by energy,” he said.

“A Connection to the Divine Will”

Lai Feng-chang, a company general manager, saw Shen Yun in Taichung on April 2. This was his third time seeing Shen Yun.

“Shen Yun is a connection to the divine will, a note from heaven, so this is worth watching,” he said.

“Strong Power from Their Hearts”

Stacie Pi-chun Chen, the director of the Culture and Tourism Department of Yunlin County, saw Shen Yun in Chiayi on April 8. This was her third time seeing Shen Yun.

“These performers on the stage not only had physical strength, but more importantly, they had a strong power from their hearts,” she said.

“Touched by This Art”

Tainan City Councilor Tsu Tsìng-hian saw Shen Yun in Tainan on April 12.

“One kind of touching feeling comes from how [Shen Yun] presents the stories that we have heard since we were young in a concrete way through art and culture, being touched by this art. The second kind of touching feeling comes from the piece called ‘Unprecedented Crime,’ and I cried at the end of that scene. Even though it was presented in an artistic way, it still made me feel very sad seeing such an inhumane story,” he said.

“A Message from the Divine”

Attorney Tseng Chin-yuan and his wife Huang Tsui-ying, an associate professor at National Chiayi University, saw Shen Yun in Chiayi on April 8.

“The most important thing about Shen Yun is that it brought a message from the divine, which is the belief in Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance... Behind forbearance, there is not only the pain brought by forbearance, but also a kind of tolerance. With tolerance and this great love, people can overcome everything. This is the most valuable part of Shen Yun,” he said.

“As long as we stand on the side of kindness and stick to [traditional] values, I believe that once the divinity in our hearts is brought out, individuals or small and weak countries can definitely overcome the evil forces. This is the most precious inspiration I got from watching Shen Yun today,” Mr. Tseng said.

“Beauty from the Heart”

Yang Shang-ju, an assistant professor of music at the CTBC Business School, saw Shen Yun in Tainan on April 11.

“Shen Yun has displayed that kind of ineffable profundity, and divinity. Their performance seems to have a kind of spirituality, a kind of beauty from the heart.... I suggest that adults should bring children to come watch it more. It is very important to have the moral values of traditional Chinese civilization!” he said.

“Wisdom of the Awakened”

Cheng Li-ang, a company manager and young entrepreneur, saw Shen Yun in Tainan on April 11.

“The entire Shen Yun performance seemed to be permeated with the wisdom of the awakened. There are so many things in this world that affect us, and [Shen Yun] is like a light guiding us in the direction ahead,” he said.
